Rainbow Dash always [verb]s in style

Okay, ponies, listen up! The name's Rainbow Dash! There's... probably at least one more of me out there, but that doesn't change the facts. Fact number one: I'm Ponyville's weatherpony, and that means I need a roll call from all you pegasi out there! There's a lot of responsibilities you have that you need to be aware of, so listen up! First of all: DO NOT CHANGE THE WEATHER. We are on a schedule here, people. A one-cloud rainstorm, fine. Deciding you want a sunny day when we've got downpour slated, not fine.

Second: Do not harass the flying tortoise. I'm serious. You do not want to mess with that little guy, he'll end you. Oh yeah, that goes for all you OTHER ponies too, if he's near the ground. He may or may not be a trained combat pet at this point. I'm not sure. But even if he's not, still, do not give that guy grief. Attention and respect is cool though.

Third of all, do not just make homes on clouds. Napping is fine, that's practically what they're there for, but they're not homes. Use a sensible house like a normal pony. If you need help constructing a cloud home, I'm sure Twilight has plenty of books in the library that she'd be happy to loan you.

Fourth, if you think you're fast, you're not, and I'm taking all challengers to prove it. [Rainbow winks broadly at the scroll.]

Oh yeah, and uh, if anypony shows up named...

[Rainbow stops, considers, then shakes her head.]

...Nah. Never mind.

That would putting it mildly. It's not so bad though. I've made friends on the community at least, though so far I haven't found any of them here.

[Rainbow sighs.] Yeah. Even my friends aren't the same as friends I was with in other places.

Yeah me too. When I ran into Yu earlier, he didn't recognize me. It's not the first time that kind of thing has happened to me though. I helped him with walking.

Guess all you can do is make new friends here, right?

I guess so. At least until we all figure out how to get home. Hopefully Princess Celestia makes progress in figuring out how we got here and why we've been transformed into ponies.

Don't hold your breath. Not to be negative, but history has taught me that solving this sort of problem is pretty hard if not impossible.

I'm sure we can figure out the problem sooner than later. Maybe not right away, but it's not like we're here permanently.

Not permanently, but I was away for an entire year and change, my time. So that might be a pretty long time for you.

[His ears droop. That's not exactly helping him, RD.] I really hope not.

[Well, she's not going to LIE...]

But when I was away, time on Ponyville wasn't moving forward. So you'll probably go back right when you came from. That means no one back home will be worried about you or missing you!

[ponymechanic]

[His ears perk up.] Really? That make a lot of sense. It's possible time here runs differently than other dimensions, though it could also be a side effect of whatever pulled you away.

Maybe. Definitely don't worry too much about it, though. It'll work out all right!
