[The scroll comes to life by hastily working arms, and a blonde woman's face comes on the video. She looks like she's been through some shit recently; she has a few soot smears and scratches on her face, her hair's disheveled, she has heavy bags under her eyes and there's a long scar along her right arm, among a few other minor welts.

She might look a little familiar though, with her blonde hair and beat up Iron Maiden shirt. Wait--is that...???]

Hello? Minako? Don? Mister Finevoice? --hell, anybody at this rate. It's Liz! I don't know how I'm back - or how I'm still human - but...listen, how long has it been?

[Over the course of the story, he eventually moves over to sit on the couch next to her. When she finishes, he puts an arm around her shoulders and draws her close.]

[She's all too happy to lean on him, taking a slow breath. It's pretty clear telling the story took a lot out of her.]

[He falls silent, just holding her tighter for a few moments before...]

...okay, wait. That Mechakara who's livin' down on the commune - that's the guy who did this to you?

He's supposed to be dead. I killed him myself. He asked me to.

Oh, he's gonna wish he were.

[He snarls, though he at least doesn't make a move to go and do that right now. He isn't gonna run off on her two seconds after hearing a story like that.]

I think he's already beating himself up without your help.

[Yeah, it feels weird to her too, coming to Pollo's defense. Maybe she was too forgiving.]

[She just slumps and rubs her temples again.]

I guess I'm just supposed to go back to my normal life now. It's what they'd want, I'm sure. But it just feels so weird to be back. Almost like I forgot how I used to live.

Oh hey, and her kitten just came by to hop into her lap. She needed that too. It makes her think of Nicko, too. Rob promised he'd take care of her, but she couldn't help missing her already.]
