[Unfortunately, Chie has not been paying as much attention to the information that had been going out on the magic friends network. There had been a few... odd ducks lately that have made her become a bit wary, and honestly a lot of the discussion about the Pale Pony or Calice or whatever the devil her name was called was getting her depressed. Still, there was one thing that she would always try to do... every night, right when she was about to go to sleep.]

[She'd pull out her scroll, run her hoof over the names and give Kyouko's scroll a buzz. At first she was pretty bad at this, but after doing it for seven days straight she had developed a certain knack. There was nothing to it, really.]

[Still, the past few days had been depressingly absent. And were she honest she would suspect the same problems she encountered when trying to do it the past few times. She had become rather pessimistic about the idea, and was even about to forget about doing it tonight. Then her thoughts went back to the lone bear in the candy shop and she knew she couldn't just leave it at that.]

[Suddenly, mind-boggledly , and against all odds... the spell to connect the scrolls... took. There's an awkward moment when Chie just blinked on her ened, completely astonished that anything went through. Her anticipation leapt as she leaned forward to get a better view. Was this really happening? Could she really be here?]

[ Well, this is awkward. The image on the scroll is of Kyouko, all right, but she definitely looks the worse for wear. One ear is missing and one eye is dripping out of her socket. There's chunks of flesh missing from her face, and luckily that's all Chie can see because it doesn't get any better from the neck down. Kyouko's startled to find herself looking at a face through the scroll (she was sure she didn't set her scroll to record video, she'd been pretty careful), and then ducks out of sight. ]

Chie?! Dammit. Not a great time!
