Listen up everyone, there is no need to panic. I assure you that those willing to lend a hoof in dealing with this most recent terror are organizing as we speak. However, I know not everypony can or is willing to get involved in a conflict of this magnitude. Which brings me to the reason for this little announcement.

There are shelters open willing to take in anyone that wants a safe haven to wait this little conflict out. We shall provide food and blankets along with any other necessities that anyone may need. The shelters are located in the new dojo and in the town library. Between the two shelters we should have plenty of room to house the entire population of Ponyville if we have to.

I am also looking for volunteers to help guard the shelters and escort anyone to them as needed. I know some might feel more comfortable if they had a bodyguard for the trip. And if you are worried about being turned away, don't be. I shall make sure everyone that wishes to get in gets in.

So, shelters for anyone wishing to stay out of the fighting and volunteers needed to protect and guard the shelters. I would ask that the volunteers have no plan on joining the main fight. If you do, then perhaps you should go talk to Twilight.

I would be willing to assist in the protection of at least one of the shelters provided someone could keep an eye on Mani... I do not believe that I will fit in any of the 'shelters' if they are built for those of pony size. I'm wary of leaving a foal so young on her own in such a situation and she's my priority at the moment.

I can keep an eye on her. They're gonna need guys like you out there.

I'll be outside defending the shelters... Unless things look bad enough that they need me for well... [Sigh] severe overkill. I don't think my solution would be one many would be happy with.

[While Skyfire was friendly and didn't like fighting... he'd learned the hard way that some threats just had to be er, 'put down' in a permanent manner. However, he didn't know enough about this world to make a judgement call like that.]

I don't like to be the one to be the attacker, and besides, providing defense will hopefully let me control my reactions to things...

Well, listen, can you do me a favor? If you see a black mare with a curly yellow mane out there, can you keep an eye out for her? She's an earth pony, not the changeling Queen, she'll probably be fightin' with swords.

I would be glad to keep an eye out for her and try to keep her from getting into anything that she is unable to handle herself.

[Fair's fair after all. It would be rather rude and ungrateful to say no if he was going to keep an eye on Mani for him.]

Hey, just because you can't fight, it doesn't mean that you can't be a help.

They are going to need people to help tend wounds, make meals, look after the shelters...

[He gives Harvey a reassuring look.]

You know your limits, that's a good thing. Better to be a help behind the scenes than to get hurt doing something you aren't ready for. [After all, it's the support team that can make or break a battle. Just like stagehands can make or break a play. Just because they can't be seen, it doesn't make them worthless.]

[It's not being able to help Liz, more specifically, that's his problem; he was fine stayin' behind until he realized she wouldn't be. He'd never forgive himself if she got hurt and he wasn't there.]

That would be a giant help. Perhaps you can help with protecting the Dojo since that has a larger area to cover than the library. And I'm absolutely positive we can find someone to help with your young friend.

Just bring her to the Dojo with you.

I think that's doable... Harvey has offered to keep an eye out for her, but I wouldn't turn down the chance to let her make a few more friends.

Mani wanted to do something to help out... Do you think someone could find her something simple to do? They'll likely have to teach her what to do though... She's pretty young...

I'm sure we can find her something to do. She could even help out Fluttershy if she wished. I'm sure she wouldn't mind.

Hmmm... I suppose I should really ask Mani what she would like to do. I just thought it best to make sure there were things she could possibly do first.

[Someone has been watching the scrolls, it's a habit Sunna taught her, get enough information as possible, because humans will always forget something important when issuing orders.

Hello Mani. Fluttershy just so happens to be the kindest pony I know. I'm sure you could be a big help with her own tasks.

Good. [Mani nods a serious expression on her face.] You've all been so nice and I want to help.

[And the seriousness fades into uncertainty.]

Then we'll try and make sure you can be as helpful as possible. Anypony that wishes to help should be allowed to.

What does Fluttershy look like so I can find her?

Fluttershy is a yellow Pegasus with a long pink mane and a cutie mark of three butterflies. She's rather shy so you may have to introduce yourself first to the poor dear.

Most of them, yes. However, I do have an assistant that makes clothing of her own as well.

But, I also specialize in armor as well.
