There's a girl wandering around the Night Market, looking very confused and trailed after by a gigantic six-winged moth.

"...so do you think this is the Trapezohedron acting up again?"

The moth rumbles in response, clearly just as confused as she is.

She'll get to see a large dragon trying to look at items in shop windows and stalls, before it happens to look in her direction. Skyfire was honestly starting to think this place was insane. He was still growing rather fond of it, but it was still insane.

"Do you need some help? You look really confused."

Giant dragon out of nowhere, might as well roll with it.

"Has anyone from Hinoto-Ri shown up that you know of?"

"Not that I'm aware of..." He pauses a moment to think "Is that a town or a country?" He's never heard of it and nobody had mentioned such a place to him as of yet.

"It's a town. I guess I'm the only one that was sent here, then...hm."

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

"I'm sorry I can't be of more help than that." He looks over at the Volcarona curiously, having never seen anything quite like it before. "If it's not rude of me, do you mind if I ask what your companion is?"

"Oh, it's not rude; I've gotten used to people not knowing what Pokemon are! This is Solar Logos, he's a Volcarona."

A slight pause as the Volcarona flaps its wings and rumbles in greeting.

"And I'm Kotoha!"

He smiles at them. "It's nice to meet you both. My name is Skyfire."

Kotoha grins.

"So where is this, anyway?"

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

"The world itself is called Equestria and the town is named Ponyville."

[unbroken_chain]

Kotoha pauses at that and looks around at all the colorful ponies.

"...kind of on-the-nose, isn't it?"

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

He shrugs and looks mildly amused.

"I didn't name it. It does seem quite literal though."

"So, uh...is there anything happening around here that'd need a band of super-powered meddlers to resolve? Because that's kind of becoming a pattern recently, I've found."

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

"I... think that the issue was already taken care of. At least the one that required force." He pauses and looks around, taking stock of all the people seemingly unfamiliar with what's going on. "Finding out why everyone is showing up here and how to get home on the other hand..."

Blink blink.

"...wow, this really breaks the pattern."

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

Skyfire just shrugs. "This place is nice, but from what I've seen so far it's also quite odd."

"Well, I know from odd, at least!"

Kotoha beams happily.

"Say, you have any idea what the local cuisine is like?"

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

Skyfire smiles. "Since the majority of animal life here is sentient, everything seems to be meat free... Other than that I do not know. I usually stick to my diet of rocks and minerals."

That doesn't bother him at all, he's actually rather relieved at the lack of meat eating going on.

"Oh, I don't eat meat either, for pretty much the same reason! So I guess as long as there's, like...non-hay foods I'll be fine."

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

"There is a lot of variety for food, I just do not indulge in it often. I would rather not manage to clear out a large portion of the town's food supply." Which at his size was a very real possibility.

Hold on, she's rummaging through her bag.

"Hey, you want a snack?"

Holding up some kind of faceted gem.

"It's called a Dragon Gem."

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

"Oh. I think that's far to pretty to snack on... Would you trade something for it?"

He thought that maybe he could make her a carving or something for it. Perhaps a piece of somewhat valuable metal... Just because gems weren't overly expensive, it didn't mean that he felt right just taking something like that without offering something in return.

"Trade? Nah, you can have it. Here!"

Have a gem, dragon dude.

"Oh. Are you sure? Thank you."

He feels a little odd just taking it, but accepts it gracefully and puts it in one of the 'saddle' bags hidden under his wings.

"... May I treat you to a meal at least?" She had mentioned food after all... It was the least he could do in his opinion.

"Sure thing!"

With that, she swings up onto Solar Logos' back.

"Lead the way!"

He'll lead her over to Sugarcube Corner and then settled down outside in an area where he wouldn't be in anyone's way.

"This is one of the best places to get food in town."

Skyfire reaches into one of his saddlebags and pulls out enough bits to cover something for both Kotoha and her Volcarona, handing it to her.

"I'm afraid I won't fit in the shop..." He gives her a small, goofy grin. He was used to it though.

Kotoha smiles back as she opens the door and looks inside before freezing completely. Very slowly, she closes the door and turns to Skyfire.

"...um. There's an Emboar working the counter."

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

He just looks confused at what the issue is.

"... That's a problem?"

Really, with all the odd people showing up and even her own friend...

"If it's working there it must know what it's doing?"

"It means there's someone from my world here!"

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

"Ah. I see... I'm afraid I have no idea about any of that." He paused and then sighed looking a little down. "Just don't get your hopes up too much. I thought I had found some others from my world, but unfortunately they came from a different version of my world."

Skyfire didn't want to say anything about it, but a vague disclaimer was nobodies friend... and he didn't want her to get her hopes up only to get hurt.

"...huh. I heard that, three years ago, the Entree at the center of Unova could connect people to other timelines...I guess if I think of it like that I can deal."

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

He nods quietly a moment. "That's likely the best solution. It'll be a nice surprise if they do end up from the same place, but at least you won't be too disappointed if they aren't."

Kotoha nods in determination.

"Right! I'll go in and buy something, then!"

And off she goes.

He smiles at her and settles down outside to wait, curious to see what she'll get.

When she comes out, she's clutching a baguette.

"I asked around, and apparently his Trainer is named Mako! I think I might look around for her!"

Grinning happily.

"Thank you very much!"

[caelum_ignis_draconigena]

"You're very welcome."

He gives her a grin.

"Good luck searching for her. Feel free to come find me if you need help later."

Skyfire would have offered to let her stay with him, but he had Mani to look after and no real place for anyone else to stay.

"I will!"

And with that, she swings back onto Solar Logos' back as the moth flies off.
