2nd Step [Visual/Action]

[What is a little fox to do now that she's not a pony and more and has hands again? Climb trees of course! Mani's perched on the highest branch she could get too when she opens the scroll.]

I didn't know climbing trees was so much fun! Everyone looks little from up here. And I can see foreEEK!

[Yep someone overbalanced and fell of the branch, thankfully she managed to grab hold of a lower one and pull herself back up. She looks sheepishly at the scroll.]

[And there's a worried dragon pressing his nose to the scroll trying to check Mani for any injuries via the view.]

Mani! Are you alright?

I'm okay! [Mani's sitting on the branch again by now her Tail wagging behind her.] I just leaned to far forward.

Please be careful...

[He won't tell her not to climb trees... just so long as she's careful.]

I will. [Spoken as someone who's starting to get a little reckless after their first real taste of freedom.]

I'll be okay I promise.

Alright... Just keep your scroll with you and call me if you get into trouble.

[The first other Warmblood he's seen since this whole mess began and she appears to be a aspiring athlete nudist! If Dust's hat didn't conveniently cover his eyes, he'd be having major problems.]

[Mani looked down at the stranger. She wasn't quiet sure what he was exactly, and he was such a weird colour! But he had to be another morph right?Even if he was wearing clothes...and weird ones at that.]

But only humans where clothes.

Where did you learn that? I've never seen a human before and you don't see me wandering around without clothing!

[Mani starts to pout now, she doesn't like being spoken to like that.]

I learned it back home, humans made me and they never gave me clothes.... but if you don't like looking at me then you don't have too.

[And just like that, Mani vanishes, invisibility FTW!]

[Dust stands there with his mouth open for a moment, completely thrown off.]

I'd say I didn't believe what I'm seeing, but I'm not. How did you do that?

I just do. [Mani grins feeling proud at how shocked Dust seems.] She reaches down and picks up a rock, since she's invisible it almost looks like the rock is floating.]

But I can't make things invisible too, maybe the humans would have given me clothes if I could have.

[It's kinda dumb being invisible if people can see what you're wearing anyway.]

Wait. Humans made you?

[That part clicks now that he's had a moment to grasp the fact that she just went invisible...]

Yes... who else would have?

[You mean most people don't come from test tubes?]

I -- I think the question is less "who else would have created you" and more "Why did humans 'create' a Warmblood"?

Humans made me because they make Morphs to help people. ['Help' as in fight their battles for them in Mani's case, but some were made to be more traditional service animals, although very intelligent ones.]

I don't know why humans would make a warm blood though, I don't even know what a warm blood is.

Us. You and me. Isn't it... obvious?

[You know. The fact that they're overtly not human?]

But -- there are no humans where I come from. This doesn't make any sense...

Are you sure we're from the same place?

[Sorry Dust, Mani's invisibility takes effort to maintain and she slowly becomes visible again. ]

Where I come from there are lots of humans and people like me are called Morphs.

I'm sure we're not from the same place, but what difference does that make? The humans here come from different worlds, so do the ponies... That doesn't make them different.

[And have some rangy silver-haired kid with wings moving to occupy the branch you formerly held, Mani!]

You caught yourself, oh good! Are you okay?

[He still looks a little wide-eyed, but no harm, no foul, so...]

Oh! [She's never seen a winged human before!] I'm okay, thank you sir.

I haven't had much practice climbing. But I'll get better!

Yeah! [He's happy enough about that, though he does snicker a little.]

I think people who knew me would laugh to hear you call me "sir." Just call me Xander, that's okay.

And I like your attitude! You don't mind if I kinda keep an eye on you though, do you? If only so I can catch you if you do that again and miss the second time around?

[He can't help but wiggle his wings at that, which only makes his branch bounce a bit. Still, he grins.]

Okay Xander. [Why does no one like being called Sir here? Mani stands up on the branch so she can see the man better, between holding her arms out and her tail she barely wobbles.] You'd really catch me?

I've never seen a human with wings before. Were you born with them?

Of course I would! If you fell, you might heal, but why hit the ground in the first place, if I'm around? [And...he's seventeen, he definitely feels weird being called "sir". That's reserved for his father. Or maybe his far-more-mature twin.]

As for my wings, I was born with 'em, but they were a lot smaller back then though, I'd imagine! Mom said she didn't have a hard time either, but I'm not really sure she remembers it.

[Mani chuckles.] You're nice to promise to catch me then.

[Then Xander starts talking about his mother... a few words flew over her head but 'Mom' didn't.]

What's it like to have a Mom?

I didn't have one for a while. Not until I got away from the Progenitors, but...it's pretty nice. She's pretty nice. I didn't expect her to look like she does, but I think that's because I ended up looking like my dad more, you know?

[As for the catching part...] Hey, you don't think I'd let you stay hurt if I knew you were hurt, right? It's a lot easier to catch you than heal you, but I could do that if I had to!

[An orange tabby cat watches at first before it tries to paw at the scroll. Thankfully, the owner manages to move the scroll out of the way.]

Goodness, are you alright? Though, last time I checked, foxes don't normally climb trees.

Hello! [Mani waves to the cat and blinks in confusion when the cat is taken away and a girl stands there instead]

Hello Miss. I'm okay, it was only a little fall.

Why don't foxes normally climb trees?

[Mana, the cat, meows back as if to say hello. One day he will get to play with the scroll. One day.]

It's mostly because they're not built to climb them. Cats and other animals maybe, but foxes are built to be quick on the ground. Well, a normal found in the wild fox isn't anyway.

I guess that wouldn't apply to all foxes. Oh and I haven't introduced myself. I'm Saori and this little guy here is Mana.

It's nice to meet you Miss Saori and Mana. I'm Mani, I never saw a tree before coming here and I wanted to see what the view looked like from the top.

[Mani looks up, she hadn't actually reached the top yet, maybe she shoudl try again. This time without falling.]
