20 Gems [ Accidental Video]
Well, I suppose that's the last of my things from the Boutique. Or the important things anyway.
[Rarity comes into view of her wayward scroll after a few moments and gives her room a critical look over. The room? Her new work room... in Zetta's castle. It's official, she's moved in at his request. Now the Knight Commander just... needed to figure out what to do with the Boutique itself.
She frowns a little and takes a moment to adjust a rather extravagant looking bolt of fabric on the shelf and then straighten a few other spaces. She spares a glance behind her and spots her scroll laying open and shakes her head. ]
...I suppose I cannot hide the fact that I've moved in with Zetta, or at least my scroll doesn't seem to think so....
[She pauses for a moment and there may be a hint of nervousness before she brushes it firmly back in it's corner and smiles at the scroll, all business for the moment.]
From now on I suppose I shall be working from the castle if anyone wishes to place commission. I enjoy my work too much simply to give it up due to a location change. Also, I am not oppose to sparing with anypony wishing to work on their swordsmanship if they so wish. Even I need to keep my skills sharp some how.
[She smiles for the scroll for a few seconds longer before she rolls it shut. Now... back to organizing.... And finishing redecorating parts of the castle that are in desperate need of it.]

Re: [Visual]
My style relies heavily on agility, defense and the multiple uses of magic in correlation to my blade. Teaching control is the first most step of blade casting... and once you have control, it moves onto the harder parts.
Though, honestly, I doubt any pony could really get past the first basic areas when it comes to blade casting.

[Luckily, Dust can't even begin to take that as a challenge. He's a pegasus, after all.]
Re: [Visual]
Well, for one, bladecasting is complicated. It takes a very high level of focus that most unicorns tend to lack without years of training. After you get the right level of control...
[She sighed softly.]
Bladecasting is unicorn war magic. We... weaponize our special talents. It takes a very deep seeded strong conviction and belief to wield a blade. If you do not have something you are willing to fight for, or become doubtful of your conviction, you loose your blade. Even for a brief moment it can simply cease to exist and your life may be forfeit.

[Still, he understands. Conviction can leads to results far beyond the bounds of normal.]
I can't blame you for not wanting to teach it, though. Seems like something you couldn't do casually just for fitness and discipline.
Re: [Visual]
Quite honestly, it's a rather personal way to fight for a unicorn. Not to mention, I've seen what it can do in less honorable hands. It's best I never teach it to anyone here.

Re: [Visual]
[She shuddered slightly.]

Re: [Visual]
It was.. painstaking, but rather rewarding.
But, that does have it's downfalls of course. Where I can shatter my blade and command each individual mote to defend or attack, I cannot change the size or overall shape of said blade or it's components.
However, the variety of patterns I can create with each mote more than makes up for it.

[Dust glances down, as he twitches the foreleg that his own sword rests against. He understands that.]
Re: [Visual]
[That WAS pretty much the gist of it.]
I could still throw around rocks and debris, but, it simply would not be as effective as my sword.
