Third Duel

*Margulis is standing outside in a wide clearing, a saber held in his telekinetic grip. He swings the sword through a series of complicated patterns, designed more to hone control of one's weapon than to deal harm to an imaginary opponent, and then sheathes the weapon before looking at the scroll.*

I seem to have finally gotten enough practice with telekinetic control to wield my blade effectively. With that in mind, I think it's time I got some more practical experience using a weapon in this manner. And given the existence of a dojo, I doubt I'm the only one here with an interest in the art of combat.

If anyone's interested in sparring, come to the gap between the town and the forest. But be forewarned; my physical abilities far exceed those of an ordinary person of my build and I have access to several abilities comparable to combat magic, some of which I have yet to find anything similar to in my studies of the native magic. That said, even if you do find yourself outclassed, I'll do my best not to bring you any actual harm.

[There really wasn't any room to dodge to either side with that, so Ako went straight up, leaping a prodigious height far above the battlefield as her duplicates vanished.

Instead of waiting to come down, she fired a halo of bubble notes at the pair, hoping to cover the battlefield with them.]

*Likewise, this doesn't look feasible to dodge. Instead, he has both bodies spread a sheet of flame above them, intending to burn the notes before they can reach either of him.*

[The notes erupted into massive clouds of smoke, obscuring the area as five opponents burst from all sides, Ako having done her duplication trick again and moving in for a hand to hand attack.]

*In an instant, a pegasus materializes next to the body that has more opponents to deal with. She blocks one attack while both of Margulis' bodies move to avoid the rest of the attackers, barely avoiding injury.*

"Persona, nice," stated Ako as her attack was blocked, and the other four attackers skidded to a halt as they fanned out once more.

Connecting lines shot out for another aoe attack, the Precure Shining Circle forming quickly.

So you know of them...that's a surprise. I'd thought they were an ability unique to Prospero.

*He's not going to let her pull it off again so easily. Margulis and Paschar turn out so that they have all of Ako's bodies in their combined sight and each lets out a wave of fire, resulting in a ring of flame washing out away from them.*

We just had a bunch of them show up a couple of months ago.

[Without a chance to defend, she blocked as much as possible, tunneling through the flames as she stood there, her duplicates dispelled.]

*This news surprises him enough that he doesn't press his advantage. He's more interested in hearing about the Personae.*

I'd never heard of them manifesting outside of Prospero. It wasn't even possible for me or Nakagawa to summon ours in Exsilium.

Yeah the whole town was covered in fog while I was away, and Persona were materializing everywhere when people were accepting themselves.

Kind of odd to say the least.
