[There's a distressed little orange unicorn onscreen right now, walking back and forth while muttering to himself. Of course, anypony around will be treated to the live show.]

Nonono, this- this simply isn't right!

[He stopped to rub his chin ~~and promise himself later he'd figure out how he did that~~.]

Alright, so let's see here. Try to reason it out Izzy, there's got to be a logical reason of why this happened, and how it happened.

[He starts pacing again.]

I suppose it could be a physical anomaly? Certainly there were... unusual circumstances going on mere seconds ago, unlike anything at all we'd ever seen! [Another brief pause.] Which is quite a lot if I do say so myself.

And this wouldn't be the first time I'd been pulled to another universe. [He looked around himself, his expression more troubled than you might think.] I do, however, seem to be utterly alone this time.

[A whuffle of a sigh and he stopped again, feet together and head pulled back, eyes closed.]

Alright, deep breath. [He does just that.] All this requires is careful observation and study, and answers will become clearer over time.

[Somehow he seems brighter already.]

Welcome to Equestria. It's mostly populated by ponies but there are plenty of other creatures here too like dragons and changelings. There's also smaller animals too.

*The voice seems to come from nowhere, before an empty white equine mask descends from the sky and what appears to be a red alicorn with a black mane appears in a flash to fill it.*

Then what about me?

[Pony? Nope, just a huge white and red dragon curiously watching the unicorn pace back and forth. Skyfire hesitates, but approaches slowly. Rather intrigued by his verbal attempt at coming up with a hypothesis.]

Did you just arrive here?

[He really hopes that he's not going to scare the unicorn off... So far his luck at making friends wasn't quite the best.]

*There is a bat winged pony who seemingly has glowing eyes behind a red visor on your scroll, Izzy. At least, it seems red. It might be a bit hard to tell, given that the only light in what seems to be a room made of dark clouds is orbs of purple lightning floating lazily about.*

Well, you're not the only one who's been thrown into different worlds before, if that's any comfort. Several of us have experience at least once prior to coming to Equesteria. Of course, we're still trying to figure out how and why we were brought here in the first place.

[Loquacious with an overuse of logic? Named Izzy? Nah, it was too much coincidence. Two would have been a coincidence. Three? That's just plain pattern.]

Sorry to interrupt your train of thought...but if I said Digimon...would it mean anything to you?

[There's a bit of hope creeping into his voice there.]

Whatever it is, it certainly originated here. Your unusual circumstances were most likely not relevant - though I suppose we can't completely rule it out.

Are you often pulled involuntarily into other universes?

You know, you're the first one who's been level-headed enough to think another universe.

The reasons for transportation normally depend on the locations themselves and who's in charge of them. This is Equestria, home to colorful singing ponies that humans aren't accustomed to seeing. The culprit is a goddess of death only known to us as the Pale Pony, who we know very little of.

And to clarify, no, we're not dead.
