Hitting the Books/A Relic Reborn - Written
Keeping this to writing because I've been studying a lot and finals week is coming up.
With the absence of many items from our ranks, our teachers have had us looking into various sources of energy, and power. Some of these texts refer to The Master Blacksmith, who once forged many of the weapons used in the Guard before the modern era. It seems like there's no trace of him so far, but there has been a long tale of him going from town to town, mending kettles of all things.
Maybe it's too soon to get our hopes up, but maybe this guy, pony, mare, whatever, still exists after all these years? It dates about a hundred years so they've got to be old, or have some kind of apprentice.
It's just a thought, but if we could get something made here, wouldn't that prevent Discord from stealing it if he wanted to? Say a weapon or a shield or a suit of armor made specifically for us, and not taken from the archives.
It's just my two bits, but it's possible something like this might be considered worth looking into. Princess Celestia and Luna? Do you have any information about this pony?
