17th Lance ↟ | Lance vs Sword, a duel of puns that gets weird fast! [Visual (backdated to Sunday)]
[It's such a pretty morning in Equestria, but many find their days rudely started up by finding they've changed into something else! That would be enough to put some off their mood for the day, but not two former ponies in...the mountains? That's what it looks like in the background of this video. And in the fore? A blue and white fluffy sheep with a rather tall blue, spiky dog behind her. No, you're not hallucinating, this is real.
After setting the scroll to where it's capturing them both, the sheep speaks. Aside from bleating messing with her m's somewhat, the accent should make her identity obvious.]
[Although, it takes her a second not to grin like an idiot...because she just had an idea.]
So...this is Nephenee. Morgan an' Ah went up to the mmountains for the weekend, an' we jus' woke up as this...
[Fluffenee smiles innocently.]
Ya know, Ah've been embarrassed a lot before, but this is the first time Ah've felt so sheepish.
You shouldn't show them us, Neph! This image will DOG me forever!
[Groaning, she bops him on the head lightly.] Gosh dog it, Morgan, that was baaad.
Maybe it was, but you get my... [He lifts his paws, revealing the spikes coming out of his wrists.] ...point!
Ah dunno, if they get too bad, folks might get after us, an' we'll hafta go on the lamb. But it's alright, Ah'll make it up to folks by makin' 'em pupcakes!
I dunno, I think they'll still hound us mercilessly!
Nah, Ah'm handy as a pillow and cute, you're the one in trouble. When ewe mmake puns, ya never think of the ram-ifications.
I know, I'm a terrible punster. [The Lucario hangs his head sadly.] I just can't seem to muzzle them. I know it's ruff on you, but my bark is worse than my bite.
[Having done a fairly good job of not bursting into giggles, Nephicott tips over in a fit of laughter.]
She's down! This calls for a DOGPILE! [And he flings himself on top of her in a tackle.]
Yi! [At least her fluff protects her from that spike!] Be careful, Ah don't wanna be a lamb chop!
I don't think I can FIND you any more. [Yep. Morgan's lost in her fluff, most definitely.] But I don't sweat de-tails..
[That breaks her out of her punning quick. Morgan, how far did you even-] Huh?
[Looking back over the shoulder more, she sees his back legs and tail, and yelps.]
Mmorgan! Can ya breathe in there!? Ah'mm gonna get ya out...sommehow!
Neph, why is your tail an infinite void? Is there something I should have learned about by now?!
[A bashful grin.] Well, at least he herd mme...whim. Not that Ah know of, Ah wouldn't pull the wool over your eyes like that! [Back to being serious for a second] ...Ah gotta ask, is there anythin' in there 'side ya?
I think I found -- I think I found a sacred orb! It's -- it's perfect and amazing!
Huh? Why would Ah have an orb in my fluff?
I'm going to grab it! [At which point a paw promptly emerges from the fluff and gooses Neph. Which, no joke, prompts a bleat from the surprised Sentinel.] Yep, it's every bit as amazing as I thought it would be!
[That makes her to shake her body in such a way as to dislodge him fairly forcefully. As in making him almost fly out. She laughing as she says:] Bad Mmorgan, not in front of folks! No treat!
[Unfortunately, the wind's been pretty strong, and the hopping and shaking doesn't help when it pick up even more, sending her into the air!] Ah!
Ruh-roh! [Morgan leaps to his feet, then starts chasing after her!
The wind rolls up the scroll right about now, ending the feed on the cliffhanger of Can Nephenee get out of the air? Or is she still floating around there?]
