I was in on Zetta's plan the whole time. I let myself be captured to play the role needed of me...and while I'm not proud of it, I still lied to all of you. I made you worry and I deceived you. I couldn't tell anyone, but that doesn't excuse what I did.

My word might not mean much, if anything, anymore, but...I'm sorry.

I'd have liked a heads-up on the kidnapping thing.

[Pollo has always tried very hard to police his own negative emotions - he thinks of them as a backdoor for Mechakara to sneak through. But Mechakara's not here anymore. So that means he's allowed to be at least a little annoyed, right?]

(He most certainly is. However, Twilight's heart sinks after realizing his first allowed fit of annoyance and possible anger is directed at her. She deserves it, yes, but Pollo doesn't.)

That could've rendered the rescue mission moot, if they blew too many things up. It's a good thing magical barriers can protect from explosions pretty well.)

Yes. And the power surges. I haven't got those exactly under control yet.

It's a lot to take in at once. Have you spoken with the others yet? They might be able to help you control each of their aspects.

I've talked to Don and the Doctor about theirs. The Doctor thinks I might inherit a little bit of his time spell. It ages things quickly?

...I'd be careful about using his magic, in that case. I haven't had much success with time magic, but as long as you don't try going back and forth in time, I think you'll be fine.

(Yeah, those were particularly rough times for her. The second one was especially brutal.)

I wouldn't do it intentionally. I haven't always been able to control what comes out when, though - I've certainly seen his aura a few times.

[Luckily, nothing happened then. There's a difference between their power being present and him actually activating their particular magical abilities, he supposes.]

Then you should definitely learn to control what comes out. Maybe I can help you get started with magical meditation...

Princess Luna thinks it may get worse in times of stress. Which has...seemed to be true.

[He didn't notice himself behaving like any of his friends until he went off on Zetta like that. Did Twilight actually see that?]

Most powers tend to function like that. Your state of mind has a lot to do with how your abilities function, so learning to control your emotions will help you control your magic.

(Which should be a lot easier with Mechakara out of the picture.)

It's complicated, I know, but I know you can do it. You love learning as much as I do.
