6th Run: List [Wondrous Bolt Message] [main message open but replies switched to private by default]

[Cloudsdale and Ponyville's local speedster masked hero appears on the scrolls with a message for all. There is a wall behind him but it is blank.]

This is the Wondrous Bolt. I'm a masked hero who has been fighting crime in Cloudsdale for the past year.

After witnessing the events during Calice's last appearance I have one thing to say: we need to work together if we're going to stand a chance.

I can't say how powerful Calice is or if it is possible to fight her head on, but I do know that I'm not the only one here who wants to protect those who can't protect themselves. I know a few ponies are attempting to work together but let's be honest with ourselves, that last confrontation was overall sloppy. If we can get more organized, if we can work together as a larger team making the most of each individual's abilities, then I believe it will open up more opportunities for us to collect information on Calice. I also know that if we work together, we'll do a lot better keeping others safe.

Calice doesn't like it when ponies cooperate. She thinks friendship, even team cooperation, are useless. Let's prove her wrong. Let's make the best team we can. Enough trying to take Calice down alone or stroking egos. [Oh how hard that lesson had hit him in the past at home.]

To start, I'm reaching out to you all now for a role call. I'm creating a list we can all access with our abilities and whatever name you would like to go by. -It's up to you if you want to share your ID. Think of adding yourself to this list as an agreement to give this team idea a chance.

This invitation is extended to all. You don't have to be a masked hero like myself. You don't even have to be a fighter- we need all kinds of talents. There is more to saving the day than throwing punches.

[He looks a little sheepish or even pained as he adds a last message.]
Lastly, Magical Girls, I know you're out there. I know I'm a guy in a mask and maybe it's not cool to let me into the group, but please consider joining. This effort is for the greater good. We can't limit our allies to those of one kind of title or power any more.
[Okay, maybe he's been a little peeved knowing that the magical girls have been keeping all the other hero-types and would-be-helpers out of the loop.]

[ooc: tl;dr This is a call upon others to all work together and make an effort to become an organized force against Calice for the next fight/to support the information gathering effort. Both. This is kind of a simplification, but imagine if when you looked at someone the right way, you saw a glow around them. The brightness told you how powerful they were, and the color gave you details about them as a person, what their soul was like. When I looked at Calice, it was like looking at a tangled mix of colors that was so intense that I couldn't focus on it closely enough to see how those colors were knotted together even if I thought it would've done any good.

It's past the commune a ways on the edge of town. Having in the town itself seemed like a bad idea as building it involves a lot of digging and building.

I've got most of the underground structure dug and reinforced, and some of the brickwork done for the above ground building that will sit over the entrance... There's still a lot to do.

[He pauses and mutters softly to himself.]
Might have actually gotten farther in the construction if I'd remembered to actually tell others that it was being built...
[Despite the improvements he'd made in his behavior since he arrived, he was still used to having to do almost everything himself. Old habits were hard to break.]

You know what I can do, and that my talents are more martial than those of my reflection. That said:

I am Lucia Bolido, the bearer of Magic in my world and reflection of Twilight Sparkle. I am a wizard, specifically an evoker; I call fire, air, metal, wood and water and shape those energies into blasts of force. I am capable of slower, subtler ritual as well.

It actually slows things down. If I used it while somepony was falling, it'd keep them from ending up a pancake even if I didn't catch them.

I don't agree with their plan, but I am willing to do what I can to assist them with it, if they really think it'll be effective. They know more about how things work around here than I do, so if they think friendship can stop her, they're welcome to try.

If all I can do is run the front lines or go on some covert mission, I'll do it.

You don't have to be a real heroic type to still contribute. Some of those who volunteered all ready don't plan on being on the battlefield.

If you're talking about someone who is going to be uncooperative then maybe it's best to hold off. Uh... Does that answer your question?

Hi Lucia. Your abilities and know how will definitely be appreciated.

Are you good with native unicorn spells? I'll help everypony train and prepare the best I can but I can't really do anything unicorn-ish. [He lightly flutters his wings.] Think you could help with that?

Nopony has been shouting it over the scrolls but I bet we all wonder what this experiment is and why we were chosen. I know I do. If Calice wanted a fast superhero she should have taken my far faster mentor.

Not sure we could actually do anything if we knew her experiment any way. Skew the results? That might keep her from eating us all up at least. She'd have to start over if she wants true results.

[He shakes his head.]

Do you think she really is a Twilight Sparkle?

Would you like some help with the construction? It could be one of the first things our new team effort works towards.

We'll find out the truth some how. The Princesses and Skittles- er Zetta proved that she can be tricked, and Jappleack is still trying to face her on other planes of existence. Something has gotta give.

Now if only we could do something to prep a pony who might return home- you know, a test to tell if they're at home or in Calice.

Do your wormholes work when you're on planet? Oh! And uh how do you power your suit exactly?

We'll have to brainstorm other ways of looking at her energy.

That's the big lynchpin right there. But no sense dwelling on the situation just yet. For now, lets focus on gathering info and planning out containment plans when if ever she drops down.

Yeah they do, though I'm not entirely sure how far I can go, but if I've been there once, I can wormhole there. And my suit is powered by Cosmic Energy, which is basically 100% friendship magic.

I would love some help.

[He smiles a bit.]

[Some might think he'd gone overboard with the planning and size... but he'd tried to keep it small... really!]

Mn. You want speculation, or fact? I got lots of one but none of the other.

I think there's two "voices" at work here. The one doing the experimentin' is that Corruption, I think. That dissonance that expects ponies to fall apart, to work only for self-serving ends.

But I don't think that one's the one responsible for choosin' us. I think the one choosin' us knows we can grow, can change... or knows we can help others change. Like, I know one person who'd probably never admit friendship could exist, but they made me who I am t'day. If it weren't for them bein' here, I'd still be a broken-down mare starin' at the bottom of a bottle and hatin' the world.

Everyone here is here for a reason, and those who aren't, they don't stay. For... for better or worse.

Yeah! That'll definitely help. Gotta get an idea of what you want the final results to be like.

For most of the base structure I do... and I can always fetch more. When it comes time to put in the lights, water and waste systems, I'm not sure what I'll need.

I'm debating on whether I should find someone to use magic for that, or if I should put in a physical power source... I'm tempted to do both, but I'm unsure if it would work or not.
