[Cloudsdale and Ponyville's local speedster masked hero appears on the scrolls with a message for all. There is a wall behind him but it is blank.]

This is the Wondrous Bolt. I'm a masked hero who has been fighting crime in Cloudsdale for the past year.

After witnessing the events during Calice's last appearance I have one thing to say: we need to work together if we're going to stand a chance.

I can't say how powerful Calice is or if it is possible to fight her head on, but I do know that I'm not the only one here who wants to protect those who can't protect themselves. I know a few ponies are attempting to work together but let's be honest with ourselves, that last confrontation was overall sloppy. If we can get more organized, if we can work together as a larger team making the most of each individual's abilities, then I believe it will open up more opportunities for us to collect information on Calice. I also know that if we work together, we'll do a lot better keeping others safe.

Calice doesn't like it when ponies cooperate. She thinks friendship, even team cooperation, are useless. Let's prove her wrong. Let's make the best team we can. Enough trying to take Calice down alone or stroking egos. [Oh how hard that lesson had hit him in the past at home.]

To start, I'm reaching out to you all now for a role call. I'm creating a list we can all access with our abilities and whatever name you would like to go by. -It's up to you if you want to share your ID. Think of adding yourself to this list as an agreement to give this team idea a chance.

This invitation is extended to all. You don't have to be a masked hero like myself. You don't even have to be a fighter- we need all kinds of talents. There is more to saving the day than throwing punches.

[He looks a little sheepish or even pained as he adds a last message.]
Lastly, Magical Girls, I know you're out there. I know I'm a guy in a mask and maybe it's not cool to let me into the group, but please consider joining. This effort is for the greater good. We can't limit our allies to those of one kind of title or power any more.
[Okay, maybe he's been a little peeved knowing that the magical girls have been keeping all the other hero-types and would-be-helpers out of the loop.]

[ooc: tl;dr This is a call upon others to all work together and make an effort to become an organized force against Calice for the next fight/to support the information gathering effort. That sounds good to me! If Calice is some sort of Twilight Sparkle messed up by bad energies her best friends are the best candidates to reach out to her anyway.

So, you have fighting experience then? What's your specialty?

I'll help you figure out your supplies. Back home you could say I did a lot of building-related community service. My specialty is speed, so my mentor and I ran around helping with housing projects pretty often. [And if he gets confused he'll go ask an expert real fast.]

I bet you're right. I'd look into both magic and physical options. Magic is common but who knows what Calice can do to blow out the lights. She had an easy time doing that at the gala.

I'll make sure I learn what I can from her. I've got a long list of books, but I can always read more.

But I'll keep you updated on any skills I learn that might help the group.

I guess I have learned some new lessons in my time here. [Now that he thinks about it.] I like that theory. There's some hope in that one.

Has anypony come up with theories about what the Corruption is precisely? Or have I missed a memo about it?

That will be really helpful. I believe The Doctor has been practicing new spell. If you need a study buddy try reaching out to him.

Clearly I'll have to see what you can do in person. Ako will likely have some advice for you too. Don't worry about it.

Sounds like in training you'll be BBQing a lot of practice dummies then. I think we'll have our first training session for the team over at the shooting range.

Or tearing them to shreds.

[Wally mumbles to himself and stops to write down something.]

How to supply enough dummies for training...?

[She reappears, the glow on her horn fading as she does.] Probably. Though from what they tell me, I was a pretty well-behaved child.

My brother on the other hand...

Naw, friendship! Cosmic Energy is the perpetual energy that runs through the universe, the power of bonds between people. That's what the Presenters are all about.

[He frowns a bit as he starts making some mental changes to the plans he's made.]

Lights, water, waste system, air filtration... I should probably plan for both magic and a technology based option for all of those. Looks like I have another project to add to my list and some modifications to make to the plans and the base tunnels.

If you want I can meet you somewhere and drop off the plans or you can come to pick them up?

That's true. Plus, that sort of thing does seem closer to their natures to begin with.

My main specialty is a specific katana technique known as the Dark Slayer Style. It's hard to explain, so I might have to demonstrate it when you have the time. Other than that, I can summon swords made of energy, and enter a state known as Devil Trigger for a limited period of time.

I was also taken back to my world a few months ago, and when I returned, I brought back a set of gauntlets and leg guards, so physical combat shouldn't be a problem if that's necessary.

Positive bonds between people only? [If only there were graphs and and a book on this energy.] Is it anything like the elements of harmony?

Okay. Clearly they had it under control if they dared to have another kid. What's your brother like?

Well, I guess it helps that they have powers of their own.

You know how little kids are. Hyperactive, mischievous...the super speed doesn't help.

Energy blades. Cool! Can you slice up stuff a normal katana can't with those? Or uh do other fancy sword tricks in Devil Trigger mode?

[You're not talking to a fellow swordsman. Can you tell?]

No wonder. That explains the super powered babies!

Your brother kinda sounds like me in some ways, and not just 'cause of the super speed. Lucky for my mom and dad I didn't have powers until I was a teenager. You could say I gave them to myself.

I'll try not to be as annoying to you as your bro.

[She laughed a bit.] Well, you're off to a pretty good start so far.

So, you've got superspeed too, huh? But how did you give yourself superpowers?

It's a positive bond of friendship, at least that's what I know. And I guess? This switch here Fusion allows me to draw on the strength of everyone that I've made friends with. It was originally created by throwing 40 switches from 40 friends.

You're pretty popular then!

[He chuckles. He never thought he'd hear of a superhero gig that required having friends. Some heroes were Super Loners. The Elements of Harmony made it a lot easier to believe this guy.]

Science.

My mentor back home, The Flash, had taken notes on the experiment that gave him his powers. I took a look at it and replicated it with my own chemistry set.

Yeah, but each friend is hard earned. And of course there are people who I haven't gotten to, but obviously it's something, right?

[Gentarou lived and breathed friendship after all, so it was not too surprising he lived here rather well.]
