001 [Accidental Visual]

[It seems a new resident is in town, and she's not a pony - a small brown rabbit is seen hopping around, carrying what looks like a small blue school uniform with short sleeves. Through the scrolls it's obvious the view is from the ground, and the new bunny is hopping around a bit, taking in her surroundings.

The place seems peaceful, and she seems to be having a bit of trouble getting used to her new method of walking- er, hopping around. But what she's wondering most of all, is... is this just another trick Mayfield's playing on her? She's a little skeptical of it, but it looks far too vibrant, far too colorful to be that place. It really looks like something out of a fairy tale. So she's keeping her hopes up, at least.

Might want to let the poor dear know that her gateway to everyone else is lying on the ground, though.]

[Naomi does notice then when she brings the scroll over to check the network. Her scroll, wrapped in a violet-red hue, is just showing the sky.]

Don't leave behind your scroll. You're going to need it.

H-Huh...? [Where was that voice coming from?] What scroll?

[Ah, so there is someone there.]

Turn your head and look down at the ground.

Um...Hey..don't go too far from that. You'll need it!

[It would be hard for some to notice the newcomer in town, given how small she was. Plus in a town full of ponies, a rabbit might be hard to spot if you weren't looking.

Luckily though, Fluttershy is sensitive to many of the non-pony creatures, and is able to spot the little brown bunny easily. She starts heading over, wondering if the poor rabbit was lost.

Seeing the scroll nearby though, she realizes that this might not be a native bunny...but that would probably leave it feeling even more lost.

So she clears her throat gently as she nears, hoping not to scare it.]

Um...excuse me...?

[She does as she is told, and notices the scroll.] Oh! [...but there's no picture. So she's only hearing a voice coming from it.] This scroll? [She picks it up.]

Huh? [She turns around and notices the scroll.] Oh! There's a picture on here! [... And it's moving. Excuse her, she might be staring in shock at it a little.] U-Um... is this thing recording me?

[Chiyo looks around for the voice, and eventually turns to see Fluttershy.] O-oh. Hello! [She's still a little wary of the place, but this pony seems pretty nice...]

That's right... hold on.

[She'll switch it to visual for the new one. White fur, pale mane, blue eyes, and a horn. It is one of those ponies; just indoors apparently working on a few things, horn still glowing.]

I suppose it arrived next to you since there's still sunlight out.

[She smiles gently, wanting to show that she meant no harm.] Hello...my name is Fluttershy.

Did you...just arrive in Ponyville?

[It makes her feel more comfortable, at least. Maybe she was finally free from that place.] I-It's nice to meet you, Miss Fluttershy. I'm Chiyo Mihama. [And she... tries to bow a little in kindness. Not quite as easy while she's a bunny.]

U-um... is that what this place is called? [She motions towards the village.] I guess I'm new... this doesn't look like Mayfield...

[Oh! She's seeing someone in the scroll. She gives a timid wave.] H-Hello. [How is this thing working, anyway? This seems like technology she's not quite used to. It's like a computer screen on paper that actually works.]

Arrived next to me? So this is a different world? [She looks around. Yeah, this looks nothing like the last place she was.]

Hello. [She doesn't really wave back... but she does nod.]

That's right. This is Equestria. The town you're presently in would be Ponyville.

[She smiles, returning the bow with a nod of her head. She had seen others do something like that while she was still in the Digital World, and it did make it seem like she was from another world.

The mention of Mayfield though had her attention. She had heard of that before.]

Ah...So you're familiar with other worlds too? [That makes this a little easier.]

Yes, this is Ponyville, one of the towns in the land of Equestria.

S-Sort of... Just one other than where I come from... It wasn't a very nice place though.

Equestria? This place looks really pretty! I've never seen anything like this... it's almost like a fairy tale from my childhood! [And that was enough to make her smile.]

It is! It's kinda weird but it works! It lets you talk to others who are here.

I take it you were not always a bunny huh?

Mm...some of the others around here had come from that place as well, and...that's what I've heard about it...

Well, Equestria isn't perfect... [Especially this one.] But it can be a very nice place...

[She might've tensed just a little at that phrase. Was that good or bad...? Because either one of her friends could be here, or one of the bad people... She decided it'd be better not to ask, and maybe find out later.]

No place is perfect! [Despite her saying it was like a fairy tale...] But as long as it's a nice place, I'm happier to be here! [She nods after she finishes, as if confirming that feeling.]

[She smiles gently.] I'm sure you'll like it here. At the very least, it's a good place to make friends...

Since you've just arrived, how about I show you around town?

I like making friends. [Particularly when they're the 'good' type of friend, and not the type that tries to kill you every so often.]

Oh, that'd be wonderful, thank you!

[Strange technology here.] That's pretty neat!

Nope, I used to be a human! It's kinda strange being a bunny now...

Equestria... it looks like a fantasy... like a fairy tale! [She might be 13, but this looks like a dream world compared to... yeah.]

It is. It keeps everyone knowing what is going on unless someone takes it from you.

[That sounds like experience.]

Kinda know how that is. I was a fairy and now I'm a pegasusus pony thing. It's not all bad though.

In a way... If we were looking from the outside-in.

[It almost like a show you would show to kids...]

[A rabbit? Hm.]

It may be a good idea to take the scroll with you before you head off too far.
