[One big fluffy dog lies in front of his scroll, his big dog eyes appearing a tad lost, like they're searching for something.]

It is good to see the people of this world returning to themselves. I know losing control is not a good thing to live through...

[He shifts, letting his head rest on one paw.]

I am sorry I was not as much help as I could have been...I honestly do not remember where I have been...it does not matter.

[The diamond dog didn't come here just to make small talk anyhow.]

But I must be true...I did not call only for this. I have a question...how does one forget? How does one forget someone you know you cannot see?

I don't know the answer myself. Maybe someone knows it...

[As someone who's forced amnesia on himself, Teddie can relate to wanting to forget things. Although in his case it was because of things related to him, not other people. Which of course leads him to ask:]

That's not good. I mean, I know its got to feel good not to remember the bad things, and I know you probably won't want to worry about recovering those memories, but...that could mean that you could be under a spell, or there might be a condition you've developed.

You may have even been in another world, for all you know.

No it was good...it mad me happy.

It is a them that only existed in one place. And I cannot experience it again.

You walked into the barrier of a monster. This monster created the barrier to protect what it loved most from the blizzard, and others were invited in. However, the price of staying was altering their memories. It turned their experience in the barrier into something akin to a pleasant dream, from which they awoke from once the blizzard passed.
