[The scroll feed turns on to a very huffy baby dragon with his arms crossed.]

Okay, so I know this isn't normal, I mean, where did all those humans come from anyway, and why are there so many ponies here now?

[He's gesturing now.]

I mean, sure, Twilight messes up spells all the time, no offence Twilight, but even this is pretty extreme. More like a Discord thing.

And why do I keep seeing double? Pinkie and Rainbow Dash, is this one of your pranks?!? [He glares at the scroll and crosses his arms again in a huff.]. Not. Funny.

[She says that as if she knows him.]

You got a scroll!

[Spike blinks as the pony appears on the scroll. Well that's new.]

Um...hi?

...do we...know each other?

Oh! Uh, I'm Littlepip. I'm from the future, so I guess we kind of do...

(Rainbow's face pops up on the scroll after a moment or two, the Pegasus having seen a Spike around but not the one from her world. Could this be...?)

Is that really you? No this isn't one of my pranks, 'cause if it was you'd be in the know! What's the last thing you remember?

I think we can all agree that no one finds this funny.

Fluttershy told me that literal duplicates of people are not as uncommon as they really should be. So chances are you really are seeing double.

From the future?

[Spike looks at Rainbow Dash like she's crazy.]

Geez Rainbow Dash, did you sonic rainboom one too many times? Of course it's me! Who else would I be?

...well if it's not you...don't tell me it is actually Discord? Man I thought we sorted him out again. How many times does it take...

[Spike sighs loudly and starts ticking things off on his claws.]

You guys turned into super awesome comic book pony heroes I still can't believe I didn't get an awesome transformation like that, kicked Tirek's butt, rescued princesses, yadda yadda yadda, awesome castle, Twilight is the Princess of Friendship. The end.

[Okay, no. You don't get to do that.]

No, really. You told me a lot of stories. About how Rarity fended off Diamond Dogs by whining, how you all met, Fluttershy and the phoenix, and you even showed me the Ga- er... One of Twilight's greatest achievements.

[Spike scratches his head with a claw, a confused look on his face.]

Wait, so you mean there are actually two of every pony?!?

[Spike throws his arms up in the air.]

How does that even work?! How did that even happen??

[He pauses, mid flail.]

Wait...does that mean...there are two Spikes??

[What if the other Spike is better than him? What if Twilight prefers the other Spike more? Spike's about to have a panic attack.]

[Spike scratches his head with a claw. That does sound pretty plausible.]

Well...yeah I guess all that stuff happened...

Waaaait...but how do I know that I told you the stuff that you just told me that I told you? [Spike just confused himself, but now he's less certain that Littlepip isn't telling the truth...]

[Well, he expected some sort of reaction, but he can't say he anticipated one like that.]

Not...everyone, or not that I know of, anyway. I've yet to see another me...

R-Really, there's no need to panic!

I... I guess you can't know... but I really am from the future! I was born after the Element Bearers died.

...Of natural causes and old age.

[Convincing someone you're from the future is kind of difficult when said future is dark and horrific.]

[Spike breathes an audible sigh of relief]

Well, that's good! After all, I am Twilight's Number One Assistant! [He puffs out his chest, boasting.]

I wouldn't want to compete against myself, even if I am great.

[Goodness, how modest.

After a second or two, he finds himself tapping his chin.]

Although, I have seen a fair share of small dragons...

[Spike is still suspicious, but he still can't figure out what reason she'd have for lying...so for now...he'll kind of take her word for it.]

Weeeell.....you seem pretty adamant and sure...

I guess I'll believe you ...but I'm keeping my eye on you.

Wait, so if all the element bearers died...that means...Twilight and Rarity and the others...died? [That thought instantly makes Spike very upset, even if it is in the future and they died of old age.]

[Spike visibly perks up.]

More dragons in Ponyville??

[After a second his eyes narrow and he crosses his arms as he remembers what happened last time he met others of his kind.]

They're not jerks are they, because the last lot of dragons I meant were really mean.

One of them will insist that he is, but I'm starting to believe he just has some sort of complex. He's fairly easy to recognize by his brash attitude and...roundness.

[He might as well be a pig.]

The other is just awkward.

[Insert colorful epithet here.]

Well- I was born in 1217. It's... 1005 right now? I don't think normal ponies can live to be over 200. B- but you told me they all died happily!

[If he's upset right now, this Spike must never know what truly went on.]

[It's still not something that Spike wants to dwell on...outliving all his friends and all that. He quickly changes the topic, hoping that Littlepip didn't see him rubbing his eyes.]

So, uh...how did you get here then? And are all these ponies from the future?

SPIKICUS FRANKLIN SPARKLE!

[With that shout, Discord teleports right in front of Spike.]

I am shocked at the accusation! Simply astounded!

Oh well...I guess that's not too bad then. The ones I met just wanted to fight and say mean things to each other and make each other do bad stuff, like crushing phoenix eggs.

[A grin starts to spread on his face.]

It would be really cool to meet some nice dragons! I mean, being around ponies is great and all, but...

[Spike trails off. It's complicated to explain.]

[...INSERT COLORFUL EPITHET HERE. Why must you always ask the HARD questions!?]

Uh, someone pulled us here with her magic. We don't know how to get everyone back into their own worlds yet.

[Hey, look it's Celestia! ...With a hat.]

It's quite a long story, Spike, but I can assure you, it's none of them.

[It's far worse, but she'll get to that later.]

Ahahaha...oh um...hey Discord....ahaha...

...you know I didn't mean that right? I mean, your chaos is much better than this kind of stuff, way more...er...sophisticated and...um...unique?

[This could go badly.]

[Kafei could sort of relate, he's not exactly a pony himself. You can only look up at someone for so long before wishing you could meet someone at eye level.

In fact, he's almost tempted to set up a meeting for...whoever this is if he actually remembered any of those dragons' names.]

Well, I'm pretty sure they haven't done anything that terrible.

[That black one, maybe. He isn't exactly polite. The other one was fairly harmless, though.]

I should probably mention that there are also much larger dragons in the area. They've all been surprisingly...pleasant, it's almost unnerving.
