A'right, so there's a lotta really good singers in Ponyville and I ain't gettin' any better on my own, so I'm lookin' for some advice. Y'know, on practice or keepin' the voice from cracking or somethin'.
[He hesitated, fidgeted a moment, and looked down.]
Th-there's a birthday comin' up a week from today and I wanna do a little somethin' extra. So I got a week to, uhm, get... get better. And figure out a song, since I can't write songs for shit.
[Kanji awkwardly spends the next moment or two idly drumming a one-one-two with his hooves against the counter, a cheek puffed as his eyes look everywhere but at the 'camera'. He can't make entries for shit neither, it seems.]
