To any and all who may be reading this,

Hail, if ill met. When I call us ill met, please understand that I mean no Cruelty, for you are by all accounts fine people steeped in those virtues my homeland most highly prizes; chief among them a Generosity and Kindness I have experienced few times before in my life.

But Honesty bids me say we are ill met. For we have only met under queer circumstances, and dire ones. I have been forcibly transformed, and diverted from a quest of the greatest consequence to the Caelestial Kingdoms that I am honored to call home, and I fear that every second that I am delayed is another second of a long night that my people could not long endure.

If the powers that be are the cause of my dislocation, then I beseech them to return me, in the name of Kindness and by the Dawn and Dusk. If instead they are as perplexed as I am, then I gladly offer my services to find the cause, to make things right, to defend this realm as I would my own, and to be swiftly on my way. I am versed in knowledge of the elements, both the spiritual and their physical reflections, and can call on them at will; and I know much regarding the many planes of existence, and of gates between them.

Hey, sorry about that, but for some reason everything you wrote on the scroll is coming through like the most boring section of the library.

...I dunno what most of THAT meant, but if you want the Elements of Harmony, they're in the library! Also, I'm Pinkie Pie and I'm coming to find you now~! Or we could meet up there, that's cool too!

Though, uh, Caelestial Kingdoms? Don't know a place like that... There's a Canterlot, though!

Iris? That's... that's kind of girly for me. The name's Rainbow Dash! And you got the Loyalty thing right!

I have, in deed, noticed the good cheer and the friendliness of every one here. I am not so much worried about how I will fare, as I am for the people from home that need me.

It does not surprise me that the Caelestial Kingdoms are unknown here. Would you be so Kind as to describe Canterlot to me?

Ah, Trixie cannot help but notice that you hath taken a likeness unto the vocal preferences of herself! She deems it to sound good on you, but Trixie pulls it off better.

But my ever-so-feminine friend, Iris means Rainbow. I suppose I shall have to expect this sort of wordplay from the names of all my companions. This world amazes.

(She scratches her chin. You see her point her head to the side, and her horn flare - a for her to look in a book and note things down)

The elements are known here, you bear one... and 'tis day. I have MUCH to ask.

So it would seem. And I have much that I need to accomplish. At least it seems that if there was malice behind this, it is not the malice of those in charge.

I am at a disadvantage. May I have your name, good sir?

Yeah, but it sounds girly.

[Heaving a bit of a sigh, Rainbow sits down, shuts her eyes, and begins reciting.]

A lot of people have been appearing in this world in a flash of rainbows. Everypony who wasn't a pony before they arrived here became a pony, or sometimes a dragon or the like, when they showed up. There's also copies of some of us here. For example, your counterpart, Twilight Sparkle, is here, plus a different Twilight Sparkle who's actually a digital copy of the original Princess Twilight before she became a Princess -- oh, uh, spoiler alert, by the way. There's at least two all six of us Element-bearers. All of the ones that aren't from here are either from other worlds originally, like Dame Rarity, Fluttershy, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack, or they've been to other worlds, like me or the first second Pinkie Pie. You with me so far?

[Have a lineface, Trixie. Have all the lineface. One of these days she's going to twig to the fact that you're not the Ultros of this world, but today is not that day.]

'Tis to protect my hair. Witchfire tends to singe it.

Trisha. Of course there's a Trisha here, if there's an Iris and a Rose. Have you business with me?

[The appearance of what looks to be Twilight gives him pause for a moment, but he shakes it off. Even without the name as an indicator, it's probably not the Twilight he knew.]

Malice isn't usually the point behind these things. Might be random, or some other agenda. No idea until we look.

[Trixie raises an eyebrow.]

Trixie knows not of any Trisha. She cannot help but wonder just what is wronf with a simple compliment from the most dazzling showmare to ever grace Equestria with her presence?

That would explain my transformation, as well. The native Luci... Twilight was crowned for services. Applejack and Pinkie Pie are clear enough. Rarity and Fluttershy I shall have to meet. And this world attracts reflections and those who walk between.

Wonderful. I arrive during an ongoing crisis. My luck is constant, it endures.

...to do this would require phenomenal amounts of energy. Gating from leyline to leyline in a world takes an astronomical amount of essence, and transformation to inert material, let alone into a pony... I'll need to take notes. Pinkie... a Pinkie would accompany me to the library; do you wish to join me?

Ohhhhhh, hi Twilight! Are you from some kinda neat universe where we're all human too? That's weird, the other human-me was still called Pinkie Pie!

Anyway, yeah, I totally see where you are! Wait right there! [And then she explodes out from behind the nearest object.] HIIIIIIII!!! Have a Welcome to Ponyville cupcake!

Trixie, then. Only you would praise someone just to praise yourself.

[Honesty demands it. Honest. She sighs and reflexively telekineses her staff into defensive position. Just in case.]

I hesitate to ask this, but is my arrival your doing?

Look, don't get too hung up on the amount of energy it takes. This is the fifth world I've been on besides my home Equestria. It's apparently surprisingly easy.

I'll come with you. Twilight might need me there.

[Welp. One high-pitched shriek and a staff hovering slightly above Pinkie's head later, Lucia TK's her staff back to her side and stares.

Then she takes the cupcake in her will and takes a bite.]

This is really quite good. I can't place the flavor. Spice cake?

[She sits and sighs.]

You are definitely Laughter's bearer. Or among them. Sol y Luna y Mae'ghan y Tirac. It is really you. One of you.

...Hail and well met, but would very much prefer to be called Lucia. It will be easier to keep track of, for the least reason why.

[Trixie p much takes that first statement as some odd compliment.]

Trixie must thank you, but she assures you that such an event isn't her doing. Outsiders from many a world are being pulled here by a malicious and malevolent Pale Pony! Such a sight of such a creature is gruesome to behold and most quiver in fear at the mere mention of it's very name! Luckily, you are graced with a pony such as the one gracing your very eyes with her dazzling presence! Trixie herself shall defeat The Dreaded Pale Pony!

There will be naught a single doubt!

There are worldwalkers known to my home. That's not what worries me. It's that this has been happening in such great numbers, forcibly, here - and to unknown purpose.

I suppose that might be easier to explain.

[She turns around to react to offscreen confetti, and in a brief flash you see a silver cutie mark where a red and white one should be. Huh.]

Oh yeah, we kind of have an idea of who's behind it. Just an idea though. I'll meet you there.
