[A scroll unrolls to that young pale yellow unicorn he'd unrolled it rather sloppily and unceremoniously at the month's beginning.
Not only is it neater and quicker this time, it's midair.
In front of his face. The image's bordered with green light, and his horn's glowing.
He's still looking at it a bit suspiciously - eyes narrowed to peer, ears twitching, all the while trying to move his head minimally, a tiny twitch back, tiny tilt to the side. Avoiding breaking his concentration, anyone might imagine.
Just barely opens his mouth to start to say something - and then does, with a small idle "Ummm." Goes on - with a quiet, mild tone. Partly courteous neutrality. Partly active effort to sound anything but unsettled. Still isn't sure if - or why - he should be.]
-- I beg your pardon. ...But I - don't understand - what... is - so unusual -- ...about the fog? [A glance to each corner of his eyes just barely noticeable with what little he's turning his head - to indicate around him. That is to say the fog around - the lad's outside.]
