Everypony, if I can have a moment of your time? I just wanted to try something out. A test, if you will.

I've come to understand there are a number of us here who have amazing powers and abilities and the like. And, well, after what's happened, I'd like to test something out.

Some of us have... I guess the best way to describe it is "superhero forms", giving us these amazing costumes and powers. Now, I don't want to give everypony powers - that would be irresponsible of me. No, I wanna test out how feasible it is convert that kind of outfit into something practical for other ponies to use. Like regular clothing, but can help them withstand something brutal so they can have a way to keep going without us around.

It's just a thought and I'm pretty sure it'll take a lot of work to even get a prototype running, but at the same time it'll be a nice long term goal!

[Violet has been pretty isolated since the Windigo incident, but this particular post catches her eye.]

You...You're talking about making an enhanced outfit of some kind?

Yes, pretty much. Durable, stronger... maybe armorish in a way. I still need to work out all the ideas on what I want to do.

[Violet's quiet for a moment as she thinks. Then she disappears from the scroll, just for a moment before returning, holding a mask between her hooves.]

This mask...and a suit I have along with it...They were made specifically to work with my powers.

[Her horn glows, pulsing with a violet light that turns her hooves and mask invisible. Another pulse of magic, and everything reappears again.]

The mask and suit are the only things that have ever turned invisible when I do. I'm not sure how it's made, but...if we can figure that out, maybe we can figure out how to adapt other abilities into other things.

Wow... y'know, that would be useful!

And Rarity would really be rolling in it if she found out.

[She nods a little.] Like I said, I'm not sure how it was made...but we can try to get the fabric looked at, if that'll help.

Though...I'd prefer to keep this intact if I can.

Oh-oh-oh, no, I wouldn't destroy anything like that! Trust me!

[She nods a little.] Okay.

[She probably shouldn't be so willing to experiment, but if this would help others, she's sure it would be all right.

And to be honest, she was kind of curious to know how it was made as well.]

Just take your time and when you're ready, come on over to my home in the Commune. I think with this, I have a way to handle things...

All right. Where in the commune do you live?

Ah, well... [And she lists out where she is because mun doesn't know exactly where she is!]

[Plus, the sooner they figure it out, the sooner she can get it back.]

[And pretty soon, Twilight'll be waiting for Violet's arrival.]

[Violet arrives with a few minutes, being in the commune area herself.]

Hey! Come on in! I know it isn't as cold as it was, but still, don't want to stay out there too long!

Thanks...

[She won't argue. After all that happened, she didn't mind staying out of the cold as much as possible.]

[And once Violet's in and the door's shut, Twilight gives a slight shiver before speaking up again.]

[She really just wanted to help out somehow.

Her horn started glowing again, retrieving the mask from her scarf to give to Twilight.]

[And Twilight's own horn started glowing, taking the mask to look it over.]

Wow, looks made really good. I think Rarity would like to see this more...! But, that's for a later time!

Yeah...it was made by a professional who's used to creating outfits for...unusual clients.

Ha, I can see...!

[And as Twilight looks it over, she lets out a small sigh.]

I can't do too much out here. Do you mind if we go to somewhere where this would really work?

Somewhere...? Sure, I guess.

[Whatever helps.]

[With that, Twilight lifts up the red pendant around her neck.]

Oh, I'll have to warn you - you might get a little disoriented with this and... close your mouth.

[She looks a little puzzled but nodded.]
