Attention, everypony! I have an announcement to make!

…No, you’re not imagining things. If you think you’re seeing a pony who ran a candy store in downtown Ponyville near Town Hall, you’re right! But things are different. Very different. I am Bon Bon…but I’m not the Bon Bon you all remember.

I’m a different Bon Bon from another Equestria, but I’m still the same pony you know even if my memories aren’t the same. For anypony who knew the other me, I’ll do my best to get along with you or anypony who wants to be my friend.

Oh, I guess I should add this before I go; she’d be upset if I didn’t mention her at least once…has anypony seen Lyra around? Lyra Heartstrings? She does live in Ponyville, right? At least, back home she does. If she’s not here, just tell her Bon Bon wants to talk asap and that it’s really important.

Thanks again, everypony. You may now return to your regularly unscheduled scroll duties. (The scroll rolls up and vanishes, but Bon Bon did grant whichever pony deemed to listen a smile.)

[Gee, thanks Discord. Get bent. Either way, Lyra is off looking for Bon Bon. She was excited there was a Bonnie here, and at the same time full of trepidation.]

(Bon Bon's off too, having decided to look for Lyra as well. First stop, the house they shared. What better place to start a search?)

Lyra...? (It was probably a good thing that Bon Bon had arrived a few moments before Lyra had, but either way she heard the other mare call out.)

Bonnie. Hi best friend. [Lyra managed a weak smile. Sure her message said she wasn't the same one but... it was good to see her again.]

...I'm glad you're here too! It might've been harder to adapt if you weren't. (She pulls Lyra into a hug, a relieved smile on her own face. She probably wasn't the same, but that didn't matter to her.)

Yeah. I just, it's a lot to take in. Rarely do people return for a second visit, and in your case you're from another world too.

But you're still my friend after all. [She hugged back.]

Yeah, it's a lot to take in. I may not have the other me's memories, but we can make new ones together over time.

It's nuts. [Sitting down in her chair after detangling from Bon, Lyra shook her head.] We're in some kind of "testing" ground, but for a good long while, it's been normal? I mean nothing crazy, and problems get solved within 30 minutes but then everything went weird.

Weird, huh? (She takes a moment to sit down herself and listens patiently.) Weird like, the regular kind of crazy problems weird or the End of Equestria, world imploding weird?

Halfway in between I'd say? It was madcap for a while and then several left and yeah.

Figures. Did you all happen to meet someone who escaped from Tartarus named Tirek?

Hmm...so things happened a little differently between our Equestrias but for the most, they're the same. Twilight's become a Princess here, too?

Yeah, but she's not around right now. Twilight's gone on a business trip for the Princess, and recently found a way to sneak those who get taken by Calice on a monthly basis back home.

Calice, hmm? What's her story? Is she the reason we've all been brought here? Not to say it's not a fantastic world, but I'd like a little notice before hopping into a portal that goes to somewhere else!

She's apparently a Twi that went nuts, disvalued friendship and stuff.

...Disvalued friendship? Has anypony tried talking with her about it? (Obviously, otherwise she wouldn't be here now.)

Well I'm not too sure about the goddess part, but I've just sort of holding onto it.
