Attention, everypony! I have an announcement to make!

…No, you’re not imagining things. If you think you’re seeing a pony who ran a candy store in downtown Ponyville near Town Hall, you’re right! But things are different. Very different. I am Bon Bon…but I’m not the Bon Bon you all remember.

I’m a different Bon Bon from another Equestria, but I’m still the same pony you know even if my memories aren’t the same. For anypony who knew the other me, I’ll do my best to get along with you or anypony who wants to be my friend.

Oh, I guess I should add this before I go; she’d be upset if I didn’t mention her at least once…has anypony seen Lyra around? Lyra Heartstrings? She does live in Ponyville, right? At least, back home she does. If she’s not here, just tell her Bon Bon wants to talk asap and that it’s really important.

Thanks again, everypony. You may now return to your regularly unscheduled scroll duties. (The scroll rolls up and vanishes, but Bon Bon did grant whichever pony deemed to listen a smile.)

Hmm...so things happened a little differently between our Equestrias but for the most, they're the same. Twilight's become a Princess here, too?

Yeah, but she's not around right now. Twilight's gone on a business trip for the Princess, and recently found a way to sneak those who get taken by Calice on a monthly basis back home.

Calice, hmm? What's her story? Is she the reason we've all been brought here? Not to say it's not a fantastic world, but I'd like a little notice before hopping into a portal that goes to somewhere else!

She's apparently a Twi that went nuts, disvalued friendship and stuff.

...Disvalued friendship? Has anypony tried talking with her about it? (Obviously, otherwise she wouldn't be here now.)

It didn't help. But then they tried the non-subtle approach so...?

...Hehe, yeah I'm not too surprised to hear that. You always did have an active imagination.

Well I'm not too sure about the goddess part, but I've just sort of holding onto it.

Ohhh. Well, if we're admitting things we haven't told each other yet...there's something I should tell you.

Oh boy, what is it now?

Wow, you really have been put through the wringer here haven't you?

This might be difficult for you to accept, but...(sigh.) My name's not really Bon Bon. I'm really Special agent Sweetie Drops, who used to belong to a secret organization in Canterlot that reported directly to Princess Celestia. After dealing with a dangerous situation, the Princess ordered complete deniability. Every shred of information about the company was destroyed, and I was relocated to Ponyville -my Ponyville- under the name Bon Bon.

If I hadn't lived the life I had, I'd be more worried you'd be lying to me all this time.

But... you're still my best friend, right?

[agentbonbon]

(She hugs Lyra tightly, nodding eagerly.) Always. That was real from the beginning. We'll always be best friends, Lyra.

Good cause we have a lot to catch up on.

Heh, you're right. So...what have you been up to since the other me left?

Acting mostly. I've been finishing up a round of it.

[agentbonbon]

Acting, hmm? What role did you pick up? Maybe a famous Princess, or an adventurer who gets trapped in a dungeon and has to be rescued by a pretty mare?

A filly in a mare's body fighting the darkness who is surprisingly well dressed.

[agentbonbon]

Ohhh...I might have to come watch you in this role someday. (A beat.) Which reminds me, I saw a young filly running the candy shop. Do you know her, by any chance? I don't remember seeing her back home.

Yeah that's Ruby. I left her in charge with your parents running the place while I went filming the stuff I was in.

[agentbonbon]

Ohhh, her name's Ruby? That's sweet, and you even got my parents to help out! Good call.

I'll let her keep running the store then; wouldn't wanna put her out of a job just because I'm back. When do you go back to filming?

Yeah, she'a a sweetheart, and really good with the store.

I'm filming again next week till the beginning of August.
