[Somepony's hailing the scrolls today laying down with a hoof over his eyes...if it wasn't enough that Crmsn looked miserable already, he winces as he lifts the foreleg to look at the scroll.]

I'm not usually one to bother with this kind of thing, but cripes, does anyone know where the pony strength aspirin is? I kind of need one...or two.......or fifty.

[There's a muttered curse about the cold weather.]

Whoever can point me to some, or, even better, just empty a bottle down my throat, wins forever and will be my life long hero.

[Meanwhile, if anyone needs him, he's just going to...stay where he is. Half collapsed outside the door to his room in the commune. It's really hard to walk on four legs when your forelegs are being uncooperative.]

I imagine it must be pretty new to you. IV's are never fun.

[He chuckles softly.]

I usually just left healing up to the healers back home, people that could mend bones and scrapes and bruises with a touch of a hand. Bloody useful I have to say.

Gotten smacked, stabbed, and shot with arrows, but somehow this is a new sorta uncomfortable. And yeah, same here, 'cept they used staves. We had a real nice one back in Greil's Mercenaries, Rhys? Sweetest, gentlest guy, but got sick real easy. General Ike's sister Mist was one too. If they couldn't get to ya, we all had healing stuff on hand, but man, that stuff can sting.

Tell me about it. I've been dismembered, slashed, stabbed, smacked, beaten, burned, shot, crushed...you name it. My wife is a healer back home, and my best friends wife too for that matter. Between the two of them we're pretty safe. Always yellin' at us though, for one reason or another. We always managed to get in over our heads, so it's not like it wasn't well deserved.

[He gets a slightly wistful and dreamy look on his face for a moment. Pain slightly forgotten about.]

Actually, my wife is pretty much the reason my back even healed up at all.

[Man, and she thought she'd seen some bad stuff. But the quick look of surprise is replaced with a gentle smile as he talks about his wife. He always talked about her and his family with such love, and she hopes she'll have someone like that one day that would speak of her and their family with so much affection.]

Lady CB sounds like quite the healer if she can do such. And Ah'm sure she worried a lot if y'all were gettin' into trouble so much. [It's said with a chuckle following.]

Oh I'm sure to get an earful when I get back, but I'll have stories when I do. Some real interestin' ones too from the looks of this place. We were just movin' to our new home, too...when I was takin' I mean.

[He looks up for a moment and shakes his head with a roll of his eyes at some stray mental image, then looks back at her.]

Y'know I bet your families worried about you too. When you get back, d'ya think you'll be tellin' them all about this place?
