Rainbow Dash always [verb]s in style

Okay, ponies, listen up! The name's Rainbow Dash! There's... probably at least one more of me out there, but that doesn't change the facts. Fact number one: I'm Ponyville's weatherpony, and that means I need a roll call from all you pegasi out there! There's a lot of responsibilities you have that you need to be aware of, so listen up! First of all: DO NOT CHANGE THE WEATHER. We are on a schedule here, people. A one-cloud rainstorm, fine. Deciding you want a sunny day when we've got downpour slated, not fine.

Second: Do not harass the flying tortoise. I'm serious. You do not want to mess with that little guy, he'll end you. Oh yeah, that goes for all you OTHER ponies too, if he's near the ground. He may or may not be a trained combat pet at this point. I'm not sure. But even if he's not, still, do not give that guy grief. Attention and respect is cool though.

Third of all, do not just make homes on clouds. Napping is fine, that's practically what they're there for, but they're not homes. Use a sensible house like a normal pony. If you need help constructing a cloud home, I'm sure Twilight has plenty of books in the library that she'd be happy to loan you.

Fourth, if you think you're fast, you're not, and I'm taking all challengers to prove it. [Rainbow winks broadly at the scroll.]

Oh yeah, and uh, if anypony shows up named...

[Rainbow stops, considers, then shakes her head.]

...Nah. Never mind.

It's not a bad idea. I'll bring it up to Twilight whenever I see... one of them. She's better at organizing stuff like that than I am.

So who is this Twilight pony you keep talking about? We didn't really talk about our....friends when I knew you in the Rainbow Factory.

[Primarily because it was easier for everyone at the Factory to keep everyone else at a leg's length as well as the fact that Surprise despised her version of Rainbow Dash and didn't particularly care if she had friends or who they were.

It wasn't like Surprise herself had any friends to talk about.]

Oh, that's Twilight Sparkle. Great girl. Wielder of the Element of Magic, also a princess, but that's a more recent development.

Although there's two of her here and only one is an alicorn, because the other is... actually this one's kind of confusing, something about a copy.

There's another princess?

[That's...alarming. At least as far as Surprise can tell. She can't tell if becoming a princess would be an honor for the recipient, or mean trouble for every other pony, or both.]

Okay I'm gonna stop you there on this because this is confusing! Let's talk about something else! Like are we gonna train the new ponies to actually help with the weather or are you and the weather pegasi from here gonna take care of it?

I'd like everypony to be trained in the important stuff, like what to do in an emergency or something. We probably don't need more weatherponies, but if anyone has a knack for it, why not teach 'em?

You were working back in Cloudsdale, right? How familiar are you with work out here on the ground?

Well I've never left Cloudsdale so....not at all.

Okay. That's no big deal! We're probably not gonna have anything major come up soon. Winter looks pretty wrapped up and we just did the water-to-Cloudsdale tornado fairly recently.
