Hey all, I just got back from Canterlot, and they'll totally let me into the ROTC program. That being said, I also caught a movie while I was there and I just had to cover this song that I heard on there.

Be warned, it's a first take but let me know what you think about it. It's Acapella too.

What do you think? I know it's rough and I didn't get all of the lyrics right but it's a good song. I fell in love with this music from Ed Stormstout's work when I went to see the Pony-bit. I saw the first one in my world, and while it wasn't quite the same, it was still amazing.

So uh yeah, music. Anyone want to help me cover it?

They've got movies here, yeah. There's a movie house in Canterlot near the ROTC building.

The Ponybit is an adaptation of J.R.R. Whinnykin's The Ponybit. It was a book written for his children back in the day. They made it into a three-part movie.

I don't follow. What's it about?

Whinnykin. He's a really old writer. He wrote stories long ago. Even made up a bunch of languages with its own syntax.

As for the Ponybit, it was a childrens story where a Ponybit named Box Bagging was brought on an adventure by a wizard and a bunch of Dorfs. Dorfs are like Deer with beards. They're trying to reclaim their homeland from a Dragon named Smog.

Was it based on a true story?

Because that doesn't sound like out of the ordinary in a place like this where you got dragons and wizards already.

I don't think it was. At least I've never heard of a place called the Quiet Mountain before. Or Dorfs or Pony-bits or the Shire or anything like that. There's a lot of stories that make it into publication that are fanciful, and made up really.

Pft. Looks like the guy who wrote it has a pony clone.

Huh, so you do know of the Earth equivalent! Awesome. Yeah I didn't think most ponies did so I was referring to the pony version.

There's copies of the books in the library actually if you wanna take a look.

Well sure. People wail about those movies all the time, except they're sooo long. Put me to sleep until the action parts started.

Uhmn. I'm not really much of a reader. Books are for fingers.

Wait a sec--- How do Ponies even...

Do anything that they do? I don't get it. Making cakes, farming, building... All the stuff humans do but with hooves!

Ponies are just as industrious as humans are. I guess that's what happens when they're technically the dominant species in this universe. More or less I mean, I mean there's a lot of other animal races and such but I guess they're just adaptable that way.

And it doesn't really surprise me when there's all sorts of ponies out there, from medics to soldiers to bakers and architects.

I guess it's just the nature of the fantasy world.

Yeah but what's not to say we're not the fantasy world? Have you read some of their human-based legends out there? Megan and the Throne is one of them.

I don't think that matters. If a world with pony's exist than maybe so does the world of Hobbits and Dwarves.

Multiverse technicalities kinda allow for that.

We're kind of living proof of that anyhow.

Except that in my world we were already experiencing other dimensions. Praetoria, or just other random worlds breaching with ours.

There's one were Nazi werewolves took over the world.

Nazi werewolves, for real? That's insane.

Nazi werewolves teamed up with nazi vampires in my world.

But that other dimension is where the nazi werewolves won the day. Or night.

They'd be so stupid if they didn't have an army and were they not recruiting on the streets of my home.

That kind of sounds like a evil plot out of a comic book to be honest. No offence.

It's just your standard evil plot.

There's a lot of that where I'm from.

My mom's a supervillain even.

I guess the gods of our world decided that everything goes. Or a comic got sucked into the time stream and got bigbanged into the cosmos.

Ah, well that makes sense. That would explain why you're so used that sort of thing.
