Sparks Fly
[The scrolls open to the battlefield training grounds of the ROTC, which has been cleared up, and two armored forms are going at it. It seems that the use of dungeon-based weaponry has even gotten into the ROTC, and two of the members were fighting it out.
The pair of ponies broke off, the first one clad in armor that was mostly blue with some black and silver in it, and themed somewhat like a bat with a visor to match. However his buckle matched a Sengoku Driver, with the open fruit depicting a deck and a sword.
His opponent was a crowned opponent with a gun, and he kept his opponent at distance, hooves clattering at the ground as his buckle was also a Sengoku Driver. It seemed the use of Lock Seeds was becoming popular among the Guard Ponies.
Shots fired and sprayed off a glowing barrier put up by the commanding officers as the sword wielder rolled to the side, and slashed his Driver twice.]
KNIGHT AU LAIT! Proclaimed the driver.
IXA AU LAIT! Retorted the opponent as he gathered power.
For the first, a bat materialized, swooping into the skies as the other pony leaped high into the sky, the bat wrapping around his shoulders into a dark mantle, and corkscrewing around, he blasted down at the opponent who swung his gun up, the weapon transforming into a sword. "IXA CALIBUR RISE UP," reported the weapon as it glowed and he met the downward spinning kick.
There was a thunderous explosion as the pair collided, and for a moment both sides wouldn't give. And then, without warning, they were blasted backwards from the force and they went rolling to either side, belts and Lock Seeds flying off.]
END MATCH! [Crowed one of the ROTC students as Flash Sentry groaned and staggered to his hooves, his opponent a sandy colored Unicorn.] The match between Moody Blues and Flash Sentry ends in a draw!
Get you next time, Sentry. [Jibbed Moody with a grin as he levitated their things towards each other.]
[Later on in his dorm room, Flash adjusted the scroll.] Hey everypony, I just wanted to drop a line. I'll be back on the 13th, this next wave of training has been going well. And did you know that we're making training expeditions down into the Dungeon now? Don't worry, we'll be safe. I got this actually.
[He held up his Sengoku Driver and 2 Lock Seeds in his hoof.] It's cool isn't it? I didn't think there was transformation devices down there, but when Moody and I put it on, it was like magic.
Anyway, I wanted to play a little music before I had to bunk down for the night. So here's to everypony out there today.
[Adjusting his guitar, he started to play a upbeat song.] It's from my world too. Here it is.
Thanks everypony. So, how's everything been? Did I miss anything?

A couple of pieces of regular armor, nothing special. Though shoulder pads for a pony, your guess is as good as mine.
