[Instead of Tails, a doctor is using Tails' scroll instead. Sonic had made sure to grab Tails' scroll while Tails was taken to the hospital.

Speaking of which, Tails can be seen on the side on a hospital bed, hooked up to a machine that's making a steady beeping noise as well as have a breathing mask over his face. He's clearly not awake at the moment.]

Hello newponies and princesses. My name is Dr. Stable. I am happy to report our patient is still alive, thanks to the timely manner of the Wonderous Bolt and Mr. Prowers' friends.

However, due to his injuries from his accident, he has fallen into a comatose state. We're not sure when Mr. Prower will wake up, but he seems to be stable for now.

Thankfully he hasn't sustained worse injuries, though it appears he hasn't been getting proper sleep. We will provide him some medication whenever Mr. Prower wakes up.

For now, we will allow visitors, but only one pony may visit him at a time.

Unless you have any questions, I will turn this off and give you any updates if his condition improves.

[Something in the pit of Luna's gut was telling her this was her fault... and more importantly, she couldn't claim to care for all of Equestria's citizens if she didn't work to fix something like this.]

I'm not sure. Part of what caused his coma is the impact of the crash while his body was exhausted from lack of sleep, but it would certainly be very likely. If you don't get enough sleep, it can impair your judgement, among other things.

I shall be there in a short time. Allow any visitors to know that I will need a time to myself with him.

[...If he's asleep, then it's likely those dreams aren't good.]

I'd like to visit him. Is that okay right now or is someone else there with him already?

[Logically Sonic should get first dibs visiting, Wally figures. Seeing Tails on a respirator has him really worried. He had hoped Tails' had not been injured to that extent.]

Ah are you one of Mr. Prower's friends?

I'm sorry but Princess Luna has requested that she see the patient herself, and she doesn't want to be disturbed during it. I'm afraid you'll have to wait until she has finished.

[He just hopes the princess isn't there to arrange to arrest Tails for crushing the town hall.]

Also I was wondering- I know he's in a coma but how are his organs and such doing? Does it look like he's healing?

Absolutely. I will have a nurse let you know.

His organs seem to be alright, but there's a bit of strain on his muscles and he has a few bruises. Mostly the coma seems to have been caused by crashing into the ground while his body was exhausted.

He must have been really worn out when he crashed. A guy like Tails wouldn't fly a plane around if he didn't know how to properly. But something must have been wrong this time. I didn't get a chance to see what state he was in right before he crashed so I don't know the specifics.

If uh Princess Luna needs to know more about him I can tell her what I know or you should tell her to contact Sonic. He's Tails' best friend.

Considering he built a functional plane here in Equestria, he probably was extremely tired. But even if he was tired, I'm surprised he thought of testing the plane instead of taking a nap first. It just. Doesn't sound like typical Tails. Maybe something else was going on.

Perhaps he was under some kind of stress. That can also affect your judgement.

It must have been something like that. Poor guy.

The last time we spoke he seemed fine. Maybe the holiday made him really sad or something. [It sure made Wally sad about missing his girlfriend. Though Tails didn't mention anybody special back home.]

I suppose you'll have to ask him when he wakes up. Until then, we'll keep watch on his condition to see anything improves.
