So, uh... With all the things going on recently, I kinda forgot that my birthday passed at the end of last month.

[Which is a surprise given how many other parties he attended around that exact time.]

I don't usually throw a party or anything, but I'd kinda like to do something. Is there a karaoke bar anywhere nearby, and who would be willing to come?

I don't know any karaoke bars, but I would be willing to come with. ...Though I can't sing and I would likely just watch.

I don't sing well, either. Hasn't stopped me before.
