So, uh... With all the things going on recently, I kinda forgot that my birthday passed at the end of last month.

[Which is a surprise given how many other parties he attended around that exact time.]

I don't usually throw a party or anything, but I'd kinda like to do something. Is there a karaoke bar anywhere nearby, and who would be willing to come?

Those sound like good places to start, yeah. I just want somewhere to sing stupid songs with friends. It's never disappointed in the past.
