So, uh... With all the things going on recently, I kinda forgot that my birthday passed at the end of last month.

[Which is a surprise given how many other parties he attended around that exact time.]

I don't usually throw a party or anything, but I'd kinda like to do something. Is there a karaoke bar anywhere nearby, and who would be willing to come?

Well... End of last month we were attacked by an alternate version of the local monarch from another universe. Week or so after that we all got turned back to our normal forms and a whole bunch of other people from different worlds showed up.
