[He'd really only meant to send it to the princesses properly located in Canterlot, but Bertie hadn't been paying that much attention to the auto-search function on his scrolls when he'd named the princesses. The pegasus who appears on the scrolls is looking just a little unhappy, but given the contents of Hoovesweek and the fact that he's got hooves once more, that's probably not too surprising. Once he realizes he's actually recording this time, he quickly draws himself up, expression going to nervous before he settles on a bracing smile.]

Hallo, hallo, hallo, princesses, all! I just wanted to say, 'hallo,' and... and all that. [Yes, moving on.] Hoovesweek's a rather wretched sort of paper, but I did note one of the articles discussing the Grand Galloping Gala. Seems only yesterday we were hieing forth in our finest to Canterlot to sing and dance and do as you do at these sorts of soirees. Frightful lot of work must go into the whole affair.

[Now they're coming to the beating heart of the matter.]

I'd, um... well, I mean I know you're awfully busy. I was head of the Drones Club Dining Committee back in London, and I just thought: 'If you can manage to sort out dinner and entertainment for about 50 of the lads, young Bertram, why not a whole stable-ful of behooved birds and beazels?'

What I mean to say is, if you need any help, I'd really like to. Help, that is! With the Gala. Harvey and I can do the music again, or I'm sure I can get someone else through his agent if you're wanting a touch of variety!

We have, at Sweet Apple in fact. We will be arriving at the Decanter when the time comes. Tis a good sign for music to be sung.

They are, and working hard. We have been lending our strength for the crop tending.

[Color Bertie impressed by her initiative. He's seen one Luna dig in and work on a farm, though, so perhaps it's just something they do.] I say, Your Highness, I don't suppose you worked on a farm when you were growing up at all? It's just that one of your counterparts seemed a fairish hoof at that sort of business, too. Not the usual sort for royalty is all.

Growing up Equestria was neigh much of the spectacular fashion it was today. Indeed we had to learn the ways of the trencherman before we hath become the status of today where it is mostly bureaucracy.

Tis a sad tale to see Tia without the fun of working on the fields anymore, but tis a different era now.

[Bertie doesn't think much of the 'fun' of fieldwork, but he's not about to disagree with royalty.] Ah, well, you've got to give up a bit when you become a princess, I suppose. Jolly good you get to wade into the thick of it again, though. I wanted to ask, though, madam, are you from an Equestria very much different than this one? Or were you taken somewhere before getting here?

We enjoy work like a trencherpony, despite being delicate.

We are not native to this one, no. But it was similar in nature, down to various moments in time and history. However mine own history may be different than any others.

I must say, you're handling the idea that there are three of you here now marvelously, madam. I'd think it would make a body just a little worried having so many of you about, what?

Pish! The thought of three of us does not phase us in the slightest. Tis naught a problem, as it is emblematic of our three sides as it were. Three different facets of us: Laughter, Honesty, Loyalty. Thou hast three of us now, and each one of us has the strongest truth in our old connection to the elements thus far.

You were the Element of Laughter? [He realizes how rude the incredulity in his voice must have just sounded.] Ah, I-I mean- th-that is! Well. Hah! Hmm. I'd thought Princess Celestia might have been that one. Your counterparts are rather more... I might have put you down for Magic, what?

Tis naught knowledge to thee? Perish the thought that Tia would have left it out of the history books. Yeigh, we be the former bearer of Laughter.

Our penchant for Fun has naught given it away yet?

Er... well, the other Princess Lunas I've met didn't seem to go in for fun on the whole. Not say they were sticks in the mud! Just sort of... stolid, what?

Aaaah. We were like that. More serious. Very much a solace creature, and thus we had a dryer wit.

Events changed my outlook on life. And thus, we are what thy call a "party animal".

Really? [Bertie likes the sound of a 'party animal' princess.] Well, you might want to see to nudging the Gala in the direction approp. for a proper fete, then, madam. I love a good formal ball, but it doesn't lend itself to rollicking along.

We avoided them for a while, but perhaps it will be lively this time around. Very well, we shall nudge the Gala as it were. Perhaps we shall find a perfect dress for this occasion and make it stupendous!

I've little doubt you shall, my good Princess Luna. I'm looking forward to it with all the anticipation of a chap with a solid 100 on the favored pony at the pegasus races!

Of course! We shall aspire to make it the best night ever!
