[You know what's nice? Canterlot. Arcee had never been to such a nice city before- Well, scratch that, one where she didn't spend the majority of the time underground. New York doesn't count. Despite everything, her short time there definitely left an impact. She'd...she'd really like to go again during different circumstances.]
The more I hear about this gala, the more I think I want to go. Not trying to get my hopes up, it's not like I'd make top of a VIP list, just...a nice thought.
[Just kidding, she'd totally crash if she wasn't invited.]
I don't know, maybe I just want someone to tell me I'm not crazy.

[Silly cat.]
A... gala? Here? What's the ocassion?
Visual
Couldn't tell you the occasion.
[Which is true.]
FYI, I was exaggerating. Fancy scrap like that isn't something I normally attend. Not unless there's a brawl involved.

So you're thinking of infiltrating it?

[But considering some of the things she's done, she wouldn't be surprised if she was knocked off the guest list. ...If she was even on it at all.]

If what you say is true, then I don't think you have to worry about not being invited.
no subject
Tell you what, I'm gonna hold you to that.
no subject
Unless, you've already built up a reputation of the negative kind...
no subject
I'd like to think of it more as a reputation worth remembering.

Is this the first gala they've ever had?
no subject
From what I've heard? No.

[She's already indirectly calling the cat crazy, she shouldn't add insult to injury by calling her "kitty".]
That said, I think you could pull it off better than I ever could; not like snob ponies would bat an eye at a fancy cat with tiny cakes. They'd probably welcome ya, even.
[vis]
You'd be surprised. Remember, I'm the cat Hoovesweek likes to claim hates ponies.
[vis]
[vis]
Just saying.
[vis]
[...Flare, what even.]
So not death, just embarassment and all the blood rushin' to their admittedly tiny brains.
[vis]
Okay, so maybe Arcee knows absolutely nothing about how animals work, but she's fairly certain no one should hang upside-down.]
Guess I just don't like the idea of hurting people who don't know better. Now, if they threw a punch my way...
[vis]
[vis]
...So. Going to the gala?
[vis]
I can't stand the upper crust.
[A pause, before she visibly relaxes herself.]
If you need help figurin' out transportation or outfit, though, I'd be willin' to help.
[vis]
You say that like I do. Don't go for them, go for the free food.
Or, I guess in Ponyville's ideals, your friends.
