[Here's a face that hasn't been seen around lately, the unicorn looks a little worse for wear though as she sits up in bed.]

Hi everyone, I'm been sick but I'm feeling better now but Skyfire doesn't believe me and wants me to stay in bed. Can someone tell him to let me out?

[What little Mani doesn't know however, is that Skyfire is standing right behind her and is shaking his head a little.]

You still have a fever. Back into bed with you princess.

[Mani 'eeps' eyes growing wide as she looks over her shoulder at the dragon.]

I said you could go out when your fever clears, if you rest, that should be tomorrow.

[He'll start herding her back to her bed, but he's not taking the scroll from her. There are toys and books all around her bed. Clearly someone was spoiled a little while she was sick. ]

You can keep the scroll, as long as you rest. No more trying to get out. You don't want to make yourself sick again.

[Skyfire looks very proud of her and smiles at her introducing herself correctly, but shakes his head at her question.]

Not right now, I need a little nap. You two just enjoy the tea and treats... [He really didn't sleep much while Mani was sick, and it was starting to show. Yawning a little, he didn't mean to be rude, but the moment he put his head down he was quickly out like a light.]

I'm sure he could join us for tea in the future.

[In the meantime, Mami pours tea for herself and Mani.]

So how long have you been here? Equestria is such a wonderful place.

Um... [Mani looks at Skyfire a little worried but is distracted my Mami's question.]

I've been here Four months. It's really nice, everyone's so different from back home.

[Mani takes the tea when it's ready, she's not really used to tea, Pinkie introduced her to soda and hot chocolate and she's been hooked on them ever since.]

How long have you been here Miss Mami?

[Mami takes a calm sip of her tea before answering.]

I haven't been here that long. Since April, I think.

But you like it yes? [It sounded like she did.] Have you made many friends here yet?

[Mani takes a sip of tea herself.]

I like to say I find it enjoyable. I's definitely a new experience for me.

It is! [Mani giggles, which turns into a little cough before she manages to get it under control.]

What's your world like?

Mami smiles cheerfully.]

It's wonderful! There's so many sights to see and so many people there are friendly.

That sounds nice. I don't get to see many people in my world. But the people I do know look after me really well.

[Either because it's their job to, or because they're lab experiments too.]

...I guess Lyra wasn't that nice at first, but that was just because she was scared and she's so big she though she could scare me away... she's a Malinois see and they're really big, I was just a little fox.

[Mani holds up a hoof for a moment before making sure her tea doesn't spill.] I'm still little but I'm not a fox any more.

It's wonderful to hear you're so well-taken care of.

[Mami has nobody to take care of herself.]

What do you mean by Malinois?

A Malinois is a dog, a really really big dog. She's only my age but nearly twice as big.

Yes. I really was! It was scary being here by myself, but then Skyfire found me and he's been really great.

[Mani looks over at the sleeping Skyfire.]

Skyfire didn't think they looked after me that well though...

[Mani didn't like thinking about how Skyfire didn't like her Handler back home though.]

What about you? Who do you live Mami?

[Mami takes a calm sip of her tea.]

I used to live in an apartment before I came here. It has a very lovely view of the city. I wish I could show you.

An Apartment? So you lived really high up? I wish you could show me the view too I sure the view is amazing.

[Mani's a little jealous.]

Art took me to a demonstration once and I got to see a little bit of the outside then, but not from very high up.
