[ She rubs her eyes. ] Okay, I know saying “watch for something unusual” doesn’t really… work, around here. Look, it’s just that there’s a witch in the area, okay? We think its headquarters is the chair shop in the Night Market but we haven’t ever seen her.

And there’s only so much patrolling I can do at night, so… if yer on the Night Market, especially.

I just don't get what witches have to do with this, or how that term means anything more t'you than it does here - which is to say, a skeptic's way of saying "someone doing crap I don't understand"

It means a lot more than that. It means a magical girl who's lost her way and her soul, and is causin' pain instead of removing it, and has lost hope unless you can give it back ta her.

[Because apparently thirty-four wasn't cutting it anymore.]

Fair enough. I'm just saying that most of the "watch out from this thing from our world" warnings we've got have actually had names and faces attached to 'em.

[She's thinking of Adam and Zedd here, honestly, though Arcee's distrust of ~~dragons~~Decepticons also comes to mind.]

Unless it came from Canterlot's library before Celestia shut it down, then it's somethin' that showed up here just like any other pony did. Means you should be able to find it on the scrolls.

I don't get old.
