Eleventh Note: They're Coming to Take You Away [Private to Princesses, the Flutters, and Kreutzer]

[As soon as they’re out of Tartarus, Bertie goes for his scroll. Why they can’t do this while in Tartarus when it’s so important is a bit of a mystery, but Kreutzer and the Flutters are insistent about getting him out. So, he’s got the pair of them flanking him when they turn up… where are they? It’s not near the mines. In fact, they appear to be standing atop a clocktower in a dusty little town. Bertie's never been to Appleloosa, but the Flutters might recognize it. That doesn't matter now. What matters is that there's some sort of demon from Tartarus after the Princesses.]

Your Highnesses! You've got to be on the lookout. There's somepony from Tartarus coming to get you. It's the nana of some blighter named Ms. Helios... Halitos... Hallie! Ms. Hallie's nana has got a pomegranate cutie mark, and she's coming after you at the princess party.

It's complicated...but I suppose "ghost" is applicable. We can cross between the planes of the living and the dead, we can influence the living and are more sensitive to spiritual activity.

More importantly, it means being able to track down the entrance to Tartarus and venture through it without angering its residents. The dead can get extremely envious of the living...violently so, in some cases.

[Bertie doesn't mention that Hallie just seemed to think he was an idiot up until the point he'd started worrying over what exactly she was.]

Well, I can assure you, I'll be keeping out of Tartarus from hence forth! I never wanted in in the first place.

Good. Now let's get you back home so we can proceed with our investigation.

...And do try to avoid questionably inexpensive homes next time, will you?

This one was reasonably priced and charming. [Apart from the portal to hell, it had everything a bachelor could want! Getting back to Ponyville would be a good idea, though.]

Um... are we too far to fly, though? I think the train station's over there. [He points off to the side. There is, indeed, a set of railroad tracks short one train.]

...However, I didn't exactly bring any money with me. Tartarus doesn't have a very good gift shop, I'm afraid.
