So, maybe I'm crazy...

[Says the purple balloon Pokemon as it drifts a little in the breeze in front of the scroll. Really, of all the things to happen so far this is perhaps the least (immediately) dangerous and frustrating that Surprise has seen.]

But I don't think this is too bad, you know? I mean, compared to terrifying messages or ambiguous poems or zombies or horrible shadow monsters, this is kind of nice! I mean, it's not exactly the kind of look I'd usually go for, but I could live with it! It's not like we're under attack or having to fight for survival or something for once, so that's a plus!

And maybe they're be other benefits too! I mean...maybe we won't have to pay taxes! You can't really tax weird little monster creatures so that's a plus, if this lasts too long! Or hey, it'll probably be over in a few days anyway so why worry!

I could kinda get used to it, you know. It's almost nice.

To be fair man, this didn't really seem like an event that was killing anypony.

Ooookay, I'm not really sure what to say to that. Really it just seems kind of unfair that you have two souls, man.

It feels like it would be nice to have an extra, man. In case the other one gets worn out and dirty.

Right, now you're catching on. [Dust sounds faintly amused, not in the least offended.] Maybe it'd be handy naturally, but it'd be nice to actually have a soul of my own.
