Level 6: The legend of the first generation [Audio]
It was set down on paper by a bard whose name translates to Equestrian as Applewine that once upon a time in the Vallesuenos, before it became the Kallistian Principalities, there were a group of six warriors and one alicorn that she spent time with, and that this is how she knew their tale.
Their names of the six warriors, the six HUMAN warriors, would translate to Equestrian as - I want to say as Twilight Nine-Starred, Wind-Singer, Brilliant, Surprise, Dame Firefly, and Poesy; and the name of the alicorn was in her own tongue and we never knew what it meant, merely that the sound of it was Mae'Ghan.
It is said that a demon named variously Tirac, Tirek or Tirakh sought to blanket the world in aeternal night, and that he sought alliance with the forces of Nightmare to do this. He struck the people of Vallesuenos, capturing them so that he might transform them mind and body into dragons to do his bidding.
Dame Firefly sought Mae'ghan at great personal risk, for as she told Applewine she 'lived for danger,' and entreated her to aid them against this threat; and so she came, and saved this Applewine's life time and time again as they made their way to Tirac's castle of Nightmare.
They rested at the root of a great tree, now called the Ash of Harmony, to seek council with a wise man said to live there, Muchik. It was from him that Mae'Ghan learned to slash the trunk of the Ash of Harmony with her horn, and to draw out six perfect beads of amber - these in all the colors of the rainbow.
These pieces of amber, each fit for a Princess' crown, were the Elements of Harmony. Held in concert by those that embodied the six virtues, and with a spark from the Alicorn Mae'ghan, they could summon a rainbow of light that burned darkness away with its brilliance and beauty.
They fought through Tirekh and his army of goblins, demons and dragons, newly armed with the Elements. Tirekh took to the sky in a chariot pulled by dragons that were once men, but the Light of the Rainbow showed their true forms and bound the demon king into the pits of Tartarus, where it is said even now that he schemes.
Or so it is told in my lands.
...I feel it necessary to speak on the legends surrounding the Elements from my world. They are relevant, I hope.
I shall also gladly speak of my adventures in my world, of its legends, its monsters, and its magic. Against the Pale Pony, I think this knowledge would be a dangerous weapon.

Re: [Text]
May Dawn come tomorrow. That's plausible.

If only I knew more about the crazy bastard who apparently made a hobby of toying around with time and space and had dreams of ascending to godhood...
[Hopefully sarcasm is visible through writing.]
Re: [Text]
(No point in hiding this. Not from Flare. Flare of all people would understand.)
He was also a kindly and doddering old man by all accounts... that we could find. He would certainly be CAPABLE of this, if his research bore fruit...
[Text]
[Or what Luna did to Celestia, on the flip side.]
Re: [Text]
...and what twisted logic would make the Pale Pony deem their deeds necessary? No-one is a malefactor in their own minds.
Moonsend it we need more data.
[Text]
We seriously do. There's only so much I can put together without falling back on wild guessing.
Re: [Text]
You see the reason I wish to do field work in the ruins.

[There is a long pause.]
want to be ready for a fight, for I know that it will come to that. We will have to stand against the Pale Pony, be they Starswirl or whoever else he may be.
[Text]
What if we're wrong?
[She hadn't even THOUGHT about it until you mentioned Star Swirl's more positive qualities, Lucia. So thanks. For that.
Re: [Text]
We are dealing with someone who has wronged everyone of the new ponies here, at the very least. Does it matter if the Pale Pony's intentions were noble? At this point?
[Text]
Our actions are.

...Can I count on thee in the dungeons?
