[AAAAAH! BIG EYE! IT'S A GIANT! Oh, no, wait, it's just somepony looking up close into a scroll. If anything, you can probably just tell that it's a pink eye.]

Oh, wow... it's magic! This is very different from what Hayate used...!

[And the eye pulls back to show a light blue filly wait, those things exist? with her dark blue mane done up in large twintails. The only other noticeable marking on her are the two triangles on her forehead.]

This is so neat - it's an entire town filled with ponies! We can't do that back in that not-really-Mayfield town...

[Now she realizes it.]

...I'm not in Mayfield anymore! A-Am I alive? Is this just another program?

Mako's attention is abruptly commanded by the use of the word 'Mayfield'.

"Um, excuse me...you're from Mayfield?"

[saint_sami]

"Ah... yes, yes, I am!" Sasami said, surprised someone else noticed the name.

"Were you from there?"

[etranger]

Mako shakes her head.

"No, but several of my friends are. Do you know Twilight Sparkle or Nozomi Yumehara?"

Slight pause.

"Or, um, Ako Shirabe-Marvelous?"

[saint_sami]

Sasami's eyes light up at that. "Yes, yes, I do! I especially know those last two..."

Wait a sec...

"...are they here?!"

[etranger]

"Ako took advantage of a dimensional crossrip to return to her original world, but Nozomi is still here."

Slight pause.

"As for your other questions...you're alive and organic, and yes, you can stay here."

[saint_sami]

"Ako went back to her world...? C-Could I...? N-No, I don't want to. I'm happy as myself...!"

She's just letting it all sink in.

"I'm alive... and I don't have to go back..."

[etranger]

Mako's used to this kind of thing after all the time she's spent with Nozomi, so she'll just sit patiently and wait for a bit.

[saint_sami]

And the first thing out of Sasami's mouth is joyful laughter, bouncing around all fours.

"This is so great! I'm my own pony now...! Erm... person!"

[etranger]

As Sasami bounces around, on Mako's end of the scroll a strangely-colored meerkat wanders into view, climbing up her forelegs and perching himself on her hat.

Mako herself pays no mind to this, smiling happily as the filly celebrates.

[saint_sami]

And as Sasami comes down from her celebratory high, she takes notice of the meerkat.

"Oh! Who's this...?"

[etranger]

The meerkat fires off a lazy salute as Mako glances up.

"Oh, this is Kamen Rider, one of my Pokemon. He's normally a Bisharp."

[saint_sami]

"'Kamen Rider'...?" Wasn't there one named that in Mayfield?

"Ah... what's a Pokemon?"

[etranger]

"They're the native flora and fauna of my homeworld; my job as a Pokemon Professor is to study how they behave in the wild and use those findings to help humans and Pokemon live in greater harmony."

[saint_sami]

"Oh, I see...! That sounds pretty neat!"

[etranger]

"It is! If you want, you can come over and meet my team sometime? If you're friends with Nozomi we'll probably be seeing a lot more of each other!"

[saint_sami]

"Oh, I'd love to...!"

A thought crosses her mind.

"Nozomi's been keeping herself out of trouble, has she?"

[etranger]

...um. How to put this.

"She's been...Nozomi."

Yeah, that works.

[saint_sami]

"...I figured."

She knows what you're talking about, Mako.

[etranger]

Pause.

"...oh, right. I'm Mako, by the way. Full name is Professor Mako Daylily Linden."

[saint_sami]

"And I'm Sasami... kinda-sorta Princess Sasami Masaki Jurai. It's... a long story."

[etranger]

Pause.

"I'm assuming the 'Princess' is because your father is a King, and the 'kinda-sorta' is a Mayfield thing. We can drop it, if you want?"

[saint_sami]

"Well, yeah. The Mayfield thing is because, well... more or less, I've kinda let it go."

[etranger]

can't hold her back anymore

Ahem.

"Well, there are a lot of princesses around here, so don't worry, you're not going to be singled out for that."

[saint_sami]

"Really? Do you know how many?"

Okay, she was curious about that.

[etranger]

Thinking.

"Princess Luna, Princess Luna, Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, Princess Celestia, Princess Cadance, Princess Cadance, and Princess Twilight. There used to be Ako, too."
