Entry 006 [Accidental Visual/Action] Too much cake?

[The scroll shows a rather odd sight... odd, but yet quite cute... As there is a currently miniature dragon sleeping on a half eaten strawberry cake, splotches of icing and crumbs all over him. The tufted end of his tail is laying on the scroll, partly blocking the view and also smearing part of it with icing... Clearly, someone has been enjoying being so small and having the ability to pig out on snacks.]

Zzzzz.... [Hiccup] ...zzzz....

Aww, looks like somepony's gotten into the cake! How cute...!

[Skyfire wakes up a bit, lets out a small burp and rolls over to go back to sleep... hugging a strawberry... He'll be so embarrassed about this later...]

Hmm, we need to get you somewhere safe. Be right there!

[He snorts in his sleep and smears more cake onto the scroll with his tail while mumbling something softly. The first thing Pinkie will likely notice when she arrives? That he's eaten not only cake, but parts of the plate as well.]

[She's just going to watch this amused. And maybe poke the dragon?]

[That poke? Will get a startled squawk out of Skyfire and he'll take off like a shot... spraying cake and icing everywhere.]

Yeep!

[Pinkie will find Skyfire staring at her from across the room, peeking out from between the leaves of a hanging potted plant.]

Don't do that...

[Looks like someone is getting a little jumpy about being so small... He's not angry at her, just startled.]

Aww but you're too cute not to poke! [And she'll hide a grin.]

[He's just going to be so mature and stick out his tongue at her as he starts to detangle himself from the plant.]

So was there something you wanted? ...Other than to make me jump.

[Skyfire clearly isn't upset and he launches himself from the plant to glide back over to the table. He still has cake to finish.]

Well I figured you'd want to be awake for seconds. [And she gestured towards the cake.]

[Flopping himself down on the table, he looks at the cake, chewed up plate and the mess he's made of both the table and his scroll... Ooops... Skyfire looks a little embarrassed as he goes over to pick up a strawberry and starts to nibble on it again.]

Well, you'd be right about that. [A grin] I can finally try foods without eating large amounts just to get a good taste and worrying that I'll eat all of the supply for the area.

That's true. We should have gotten you some other foods a while ago too.

Eh, I can look after myself... [A grin]

[Most of the time anyways.]

Besides, it's taken me quite a while to get used to the fact that I can eat more than rocks, minerals and gems.

Oh so that's why you ate so much cake? And plates? [So amused]

Ah... hmm... er... yes.

I don't need to eat a cake the same size as a small wagon to get a good taste and I can actually eat it. [A small grin] I'll admit it, I don't really want to go back, even if it becomes an option...

[He wasn't alone here. He had friends, and a family, at least as far as Mani was concerned. Going back to living alone in his mountain home really wasn't appealing to him.]

I like it here much better.

You should shrink down and eat to your content more often. Eating is a way of life. I should know. [And she bounces her stomach which somehow becomes bigger for a moment.]

[He chuckles.]

Considering this is really one of the first times I've been shrunk... [shrug]

I suppose we'll see what happens when this wears off and I can see if the cuff will work on it's own... I can't really keep asking Trixie to shrink me all the time, it's not fair to ask that much of her.

She could just teach the spell to other ponies for them to use for you. Why wouldn't that work out?

She's no slouch in the magic department from what I could see, and even though she hid it well, I'm pretty sure casting that spell took quite a bit out of her... I can't ask others to wear themselves out like that for me to have just a few hours of time in a smaller size.

[He twists his tail around to show the 'cuff' attached to his tail.]

This thing is responsible for most of my size change at the moment, and I'm hoping it will still work when the cuff stops feeding the spell extra magic... The combination of the two is causing some kind of odd mix of magics that I just have to wait out.

So basically you don't want to charge it with DC when it needs AC, right?

More like I don't want to cross the wires, overload it, and turn it from a steady output of energy, into a bomb...

That explains something. Exploding things can be fun but not when equipped.

Pretty much. I don't really want to find out if I could survive getting blown up...

[He switches from nibbling on the cake and berries, to eating a piece of the plate.]

Dragons are fireproof at the very least. A lot of them take lava baths.

Fireproof, maybe... Blastproof... er... I'd rather not risk that.

Mmm well maybe ask around?

It's just a matter of waiting it out....

Besides... I do like the change of perspective. It's nice not to be towering over everyone. A little unnerving being this small, but nice just the same.

Maybe you could go to Spike-size. Then you'll have some height and be small enough to eat cake!
