When the scroll goes live, it shows Hayate, down near the fountain in the center of town. Today, instead of her fancy blue hat, she's wearing a boater with a yellow feather in the brim.

Her expression is...unusually serious.

"So. I'm Hayate. Most of you know me - I'm the Guardian Angel of Ponyville. In light of recent events - " she doesn't really need to say more than that, does she? " - I am officially putting this out there: I have the capability to instantly teach anyone the magic and fighting skills of my home world."

A pause. Those who know Hayate have probably noticed her tendency to shift her wings about restlessly whenever she isn't talking, but right now they are as still as stones at her side.

"These skills range from increased facility with weapons, to healing spells, to destructive magic. I am making them freely available to anyone that feels they need a method to defend themselves or others."

"Oh. I think I understand now." Mani nodded. "I want to protect people so they don't get hurt in the first place, but it looks like we already have a lot of fighters who are stronger than me. I know some first aid and that came in real useful back home so I want to learn how to heal people better."

She never really liked fighting anyway.

"And I'm a unicorn so the spells should be easy for me right?" She added hopefully.

"It should be! It sounds like what you want to learn is one of the less labor-intensive vocations anyway."

Before she casts Jack's Knack, Hayate double-checks.

"Now, have you made your decision?"

"Yes, I want to be a healer." Mani nods. "How does this work? Do I need to bring you anything? Er... other than myself I guess."

"Just you! I'm at the fountain in front of Town Hall."

[rabbitheartedfox]

"Okay I'll see you there." She's getting ready to leave Skyfire's cave right now."But are you sure you don't want something as a thank you?"

"Heal as many people as possible; that's all I need."
