[There's a wicked cracking sound over the scrolls as a timberwolf goes flying into the sky and then is punted down by a yellow blur.]

And stay down! Honestly, get back home and there's some kind of monster trying to eat me.

[The scroll floats down to reveal a pretty teenage mare with orange hair in an elaborate dress which shimmers and burst off. Before anyone can state "augh naked", Ako hairflips and replaces her glasses.]

Oh good, there's my scroll.

[And she rolls it back up.]

Okay, then...!

[And Nozomi's time is more or less on the dot as her train arrives about an hour later, the Cure looking around for "sister".]

[Ako is reading a magazine when she notices Nozomi get off the train. Hopping over, she poked her on the flank.]

Hey sis. Looks like we can see eye to eye now.

Yeep! [Nozomi jumps and spins to meet Ako and stares a bit more before she throws her forelegs around her in a hug.]

[Ako hugged back, giving her sister an affectionate nuzzle.] Back, and I'm not going anywhere anymore. I'm finally back.

I'm glad to hear that, Ako. I'm so glad...!

Aww you're getting teary. [She pats Nozomi's back.] C'mon lets go sit down for a while.

I'm sorry... it's just that you left with Ellen and I didn't think I'd see you again. I'd figured you'd be having so much fun with all of the others...! I'm...

[As she says that, she heads over to a bench and sits down, wiping away a stray tear.]

No, no you're not. Believe me it wasn't all fun, I was acting like a spoiled child again. Or maybe just a brat. I couldn't cope with the stress and knowing there was another like me going through the same thing, I sort of just passed up trying to be a nice girl for a while.

Didn't help. It took some doing to really deal with everything.

Really...? What happened out there then?

Life happened. I wasn't able to cope so I lashed out for a while. Tried to get strong under my own merits and for the wrong reason. It took meeting a normal girl named Ayumi Sakagami to really show me that I was being selfish. After that, I trained my younger self.

[And she's quick to hug her again.] I'm sorry...

I'm fine, really! I'm better now, and I don't have has many scars as I used to. Well, scars being mental at least...

[Nozomi shakes her head and chuckles.]

You sound a whole lot better, especially after how you left...

[She lets out a sigh.]

I haven't had the chance to see her, but I think Sasami's here, too.

She's not living on the street is she? Like we were?

I hope not! Last I saw, one of the Lunas was talking to her.

[She lets out another sigh, this one weary, as she leans up against Ako.]

I hated this week. I participated in one of the events and came in last, then the Pale Pony shows up and ruins things even more.

Mmm, well maybe what you need is a rest now. C'mon, lets go home for a while. I've still got my key.

...probably be a lot better than stuffing my face with chocolate even more.

Chocolate is the last thing you need honestly. It's going to get you worked up and hyper.

[And it takes awhile, but the two finally make it back to their old home.]

It's been awhile - I've been staying at the store most of the time.

... Are you avoiding ponies again? I hope not.
