[There's a wicked cracking sound over the scrolls as a timberwolf goes flying into the sky and then is punted down by a yellow blur.]

And stay down! Honestly, get back home and there's some kind of monster trying to eat me.

[The scroll floats down to reveal a pretty teenage mare with orange hair in an elaborate dress which shimmers and burst off. Before anyone can state "augh naked", Ako hairflips and replaces her glasses.]

Oh good, there's my scroll.

[And she rolls it back up.]

"I've heard through the grapevine as it were about the deaths... To think proximity could cause this sort of thing."

Mako glances to the side; this isn't a very comfortable topic for her.

"...would you like to come over? I can have tea and snacks prepared."

A fairly transparent subject change, but there's no way to segue gracefully out of the current topic.

Ako is grateful for the segue as well, and she nods.

"I'll be right over then."

Mako nods once in reply before rolling up the scroll and getting ready for Ako's visit.

When Ako arrives, she'll be greeted with two kinds of tea - one pot of black, one of ginger, as well as a large assortment of leftover pastries from Hampyre's job at the Sugarcube Corner Mark 2. Mako herself is already eating something that smells of lemons, with Etranger sitting to one side nibbling at a hoof-sized chunk of jasper.

Arriving shortly, Ako let herself in as she always did and brushed her hooves against the welcome mat. "Smells really good," said Ako with a smile. "It's nice to see you again, Mako."

[etranger]

Mako smiles.

"Likewise. How old are you now?"

[tsunpony]

"Sixteen. Sorry I didn't bring anything, but it's been busy and I returned unexpectedly." She settled down on the chair and levitated her tea cup. "Ginger please. I can smell it from here."

[etranger]

Mako pours some of the ginger tea in a thick mug and passes over to Ako, along with a sticky sweet bun.

"So I'm keeping my title of oldest Precure, huh?"

[tsunpony]

"Heh, don't be too certain. The oldest in current generations is Cure Flower, at nearly 70." She sipped her drink and took a nip of food.

"But yes, in this place? Definitely. I'm pushing 17 though."

[etranger]

"I've got about six months before I hit nineteen, actually."

She pauses for a second to take a sip of tea and wipe flecks of stone off Etranger's mouth.

"Maybe a bit less - it's hard to tell after my extended trip back home. But yeah, I'm not beating Cure Flower any time soon."

[tsunpony]

"Sounds about right."

She nodded, and took another sip of tea. "It's really neat to see everything from above now though. I'm taller than Nozomi now."

[etranger]

Mako chuckles, a little slyly.

"Oh, well then. Guess I can't ask you to check under my cabinets anymore."

[tsunpony]

"I may very well have to. Nozomi's still too lazy at times," laughed Ako. "Don't worry about it, I'll still help around."
