[There's a wicked cracking sound over the scrolls as a timberwolf goes flying into the sky and then is punted down by a yellow blur.]

And stay down! Honestly, get back home and there's some kind of monster trying to eat me.

[The scroll floats down to reveal a pretty teenage mare with orange hair in an elaborate dress which shimmers and burst off. Before anyone can state "augh naked", Ako hairflips and replaces her glasses.]

Oh good, there's my scroll.

[And she rolls it back up.]

(He rolls up his scroll.)

When Gentarou went and rescued kids because he was also there,
He made a trip through time you see saved the children fair!

And when Gentarou fought Gamou, he won with just his hands!

Cause Gentarou will befriend ev-ry-bo-dy!

So lets hold hooves together, and sing it all out loud!

And we'll save the Pale Pony, too!

[Wooo musical sequence!]

(And once the musical number is over, Twilight laughs a bit.)

You're right. We just have to keep holding our heads up and we'll make it through this. We all will.

Exactly! I think it'll be worth everything to stand tall.

It'll mean feeling more weight dragging us down, but I think we'll be stronger because of it.

(Twilight levitates her pocket mirror into view. Ako should easily recognize it as a Precure device, though it bears Twilight's cutie mark.)

No you didn't, but that's new isn't it? Huh, it looks really nice actually.

What name did you choose?

Nocturne. Cure Nocturne. It was originally Moonlight's Heart Pot and I couldn't use it, but it changed for me one day. Did you know her?

I know Yuri, and yes, she held the powers of the Moon. It's not uncommon however for powers to overlap, like Sunset and Wave for example.

That would make sense. Did she have any powers of darkness, too? Mine gives me the power of darkness.

That's right. The Moon to be precise.

Ah. Then maybe I do have her same powers...maybe not exactly, but I can't say for sure without comparing.

The definition of precure power limitations is pretty flexible anyhow. You could have her powers but apply them differently.

That's true. That and I'm probably not as experienced as you or the others. I still have a long way to go.

You'll get there. Skill with Precure powers requires flexibility and creativity.

That's right. I'm still learning just how flexible these powers are. It turns out you can do a lot with darkness powers.

Yeah. Most Precure use one or two for base energy and just drive a lot of power into their usual attacks, but it's good to spread the damage.

If I can manage it, then I'll do that. I imagine I'd use it mostly against the stronger enemies.

(Because let's face it: Twilight's a powerhouse even without Precure powers. Mobs would be easy with her available magic.)
