[Today's scroll is brought to you by a small brown rabbit, who appears very curious as he looks into it.]

Huh...these things are way weirder than the D-Terminals... [The rabbit clears his throat and smiles.] Hey everyone! ...Pony? ...Pony. Right. Hey everypony! My name's Choco. I'm one of Fluttershy's Digimon!

What are you doing?

[The brown rabbit, Choco, glances behind him before scooting over a bit, revealing a green and red dragon giving him a rather exasperated look.]

That's Sprout. She's Fluttershy's other Digimon.

Seriously? Here too?

She's just grumpy that coming to this world apparently changed our forms too. [He turns to her, though still keeps an eye on the scroll.] At least you're a dragon. I don't think I can do much of anything as a rabbit.

[The dragon known as Sprout rolls her eyes, then reaches for him.] All right, that's enough, bunny boy...

But I'm not done....

[There's not much he can do, though, as the bigger dragon picks him up and carries him off. As she does that, Fluttershy herself appears on the scroll. This close up, one can see the dragonfly clip in her mane, and she looks at the scroll with a puzzled expression, as though she's not quite used to using it.]

I-I, um...I'm sorry...about them. Ch-Choco was just...a little excited about following me home...but, um...

I-Is...something going on in Ponyville? Th-There...There seems to be a lot more ponies than usual, and...i-it feels like...

[She hesitates for a moment, not quite sure how to describe it.]

Has...Has something happened lately?

Oh...I'm sorry; I thought you said Pokemon. You see, Pokemon are intelligent creatures who come in many different forms, from plants to rabbits and even dragons! They really enjoy battling, but they're wonderful to be around. I have a few of mine with me!

[strengthinkindness]

Oh...? Digimon are kind of like that too...

Then...Princess Cadence, have you been to another world besides this one too?

[loveisabattlefield]

(She nods.)

I was in Johto for several months and learned a lot about Pokemon. I even became human while I was there! It was so exciting having hands; they're vastly different from hooves.

[strengthinkindness]

Oh, yes...! I was a human in the Digital World too! Hands certainly made picking things up a lot easier.

...Once I could figure out how to use them.

[loveisabattlefield]

It took me a while to get used to them, too; Spike was there to help me learn, as was Twilight and a few of her friends. It was actually pretty fun, being human.

[strengthinkindness]

[Fluttershy nodded.] Yes, I enjoyed being human, as well. I didn't have any of the others with me, at least not at first, but I made some friends over there who were kind enough to help me.

And getting to learn about them and Digimon was so interesting...! There were even beings there who weren't originally human or ponies, and...!

[She cuts herself off, realizing just how much she's talking.] S-Sorry...

[loveisabattlefield]

(Cadence laughs lightly.)

Don't worry; I understand entirely. In fact, I was the same way in Johto; there were different kinds of non-humans and non-ponies and it was wonderful learning more about them. And the Pokemon, too; I spent a lot of time with Pokemon.

[strengthinkindness]

Can you tell me a little more about Pokemon? And you said some of yours are with you? May I see them?

...If...that's all right...

[loveisabattlefield]

Of course! (She walks offscreen for a moment.) Everyone, I'd like you all to meet Fluttershy...no, this is another Fluttershy...well, it's her first time, plus she has a few friends you might enjoy!

(There's a bit of shuffling from Cadence's end of the scroll as they all line up an she turns the scroll to face them. From left to right are a breezie, a griffon, a diamond dog, a dragon no bigger than Cadence and a changeling.)

This is Chime. She's an Audino, a pink Pokemon who's very good at taking care of eggs and nursing injured Pokemon.

This is Tempo. He's a Luxray, a cat-like Pokemon who summons electricity. He's very loyal.

This is Rondo. He's a Lucario, a jackal-like Pokemon who can sense auras. He's very strong and proud of his strength.

This is Aria. She's a Sceptile, a reptile who's very good with plants. She's shy, but she's very intelligent. She's learning how to speak!

"...Hello." (The dragon nods before looking away. Cadence smiles sincerely at that. Aria's so brave and polite....)

And last, but not least, this is Smooze. She's a Ditto, a very special kind of Pokemon who can turn into other Pokemon! She's great at mimicry and she's very curious, too.

(Each of Cadence's Pokemon nod politely towards the scroll when the alicorn describes them. They're a very interesting cast of mons. Cadence turns the scroll back towards her.)

They're a wonderful bunch.

[strengthinkindness]

[She's a little startled at first, particularly when the diamond dog and the changeling appear. But as Cadence described them, she relaxed a little, and soon enough she was smiling bright.]

It's very nice to meet all of you...I hope you've all been doing well here in Equestria...all things considered.

[Then she fixes the scroll as the brown rabbit hopped down to stand next to the baby dragon.]

Why don't you both introduce yourselves?

Hi! My name's Choco! I'm a Lopmon, a rabbit-like Digimon. I've got all sorts of different attacks, and I could use my long ears to fly. My favorite food is chocolate.

'sup? I'm Sprout. I'm a Floramon, a flower-like Digimon. I'm a little bummed about changing...although I've learned that it's easier to play a harmonica when you don't have petals for hands...

[loveisabattlefield]

(Cadence offers the Digimon a sincere smile.)

It's great to meet you both. I hope you adjust to Equestria quickly; if not, my Pokemon and I can help.

Change is good! (Chimes in the changelling from offscreen.)

Thanks! It's a little weird, and I dunno if I can protect Fluttershy like this. But I've always wanted to see what Fluttershy's home looked like.

Even if it's not exactly the same one.

Even if it's not exactly the same, I'd say it's very close. (After all, this world does have talking colorful ponies in it.)

Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if you could still use your powers. My Pokemon have theirs, so you should have yours.

[strengthinkindness]

[Both Sprout and Choco perked a little at that.] Really?

[loveisabattlefield]

Really! Tempo and Rondo always get into fights and they still have their powers. That's why I have to make sure their fights happen where there's not much risk of property damage.

[strengthinkindness]

[Suddenly excited Digimon are excited.]

We gotta check it out...!

[Fluttershy frowns a little, not all that happy about the idea of them fighting. Still, she knows how much having their abilities would mean to them.]

Princess Cadence...is there anywhere my Digimon can practice that wouldn't cause any damage?

Most ponies like stepping outside of town for combat practice. The fields are clear enough to support the more...destructive activities.

I believe the Night Market has an arena available for fighting. And the dojo, too! That's where ponies go to hone their skills and learn from each other.

Oh...? Those sound like good places to try out...

Where is the dojo at? We might...start there...

In the Night Market. One of the offworld Lunas purchased the plot of land outside of Ponyville and turned it into a market. There's all kinds of stores and things to see there!

Oh, I see...

So it's somewhere outside of town?

[loveisabattlefield]

It is! It's like a whole new town right beside Ponyville; you can't miss it.

[strengthinkindness]
