...I learned how to operate a frigate-mounted ship-to-ship railgun once. Does that count? If not, I've probably used rockets somewhere before. Maybe in the form of fireworks.

Operating a rocket shooter is different from understanding how they work though. Best be careful if they're any larger than the fireworks you've lit.
