The Exbeariment of a Lifetime [Visual/Forward Dated after the Big Battle]
[The scroll feed starts up innocently enough, everyone’s greeted to a nice big bear nose as Teddie begins to set things up almost as if he’s putting up a camera. When it looks like he has things the way he wants them, there’s a big bright smile as he backs up, ears perked up and eyes sparkling with excitement.
Teddie's learned a lot in these past few weeks, being stuck in bed has given him a lot of time to think. When bears think, things start to get...complicated. Without anything to distract him, an idea can form and he won’t let it go. In this particular case, Teddie's been questioning his relationship.
Not that he didn't like it, he loved it! It was everything he's always dreamed about and then some. But after what he can only describe as an unfortunate kissing accident, Teddie began questioning if there was something, erm, "wrong" with him. This was only fueled by his time in bed, reading children’s books to pass the time. As fun as it was to read about loving couples, princes and princesses, beauties and beasts, there was one thing that always stuck out to him: It was always pony couples. Never any ponies and bears, or heck, ponies and anything else. Those that did start off as frogs or monsters or dragons always turned into ponies in the end and lived happily ever after.
Teddie wanted that, too. He wanted his happily ever after, but most of all, Kyouko deserved one. If he was going to do this couple thing, he was going to do it right. Teddie had to become a pony.]
Okey-dokey, are you ready for this? I’m gonna blow your mind~
[ Kyouko’s standing watching him a little ways away, shaking her head. ]
Teds, I toldja, s’not a good idea. Doesn’ even matter…
[ Forgive her if she’s grumpy. It’s been a stressful couple of weeks. Add to that, she doesn’t think her relationship with Teddie really needs questioning. So they’re different species. Who cares? ]
It matters to me.
[Teddie was convinced that this was, in fact, the answer to all his problems. Even if it wasn’t, he did spend a great deal of time researching. That wasn’t something he normally did and all that time would be wasted…
Although on the flip side, all that "research" seemed to do is produce a single vial of water which he holds in his paws, swirling with the kind of golden glitter you expect from a child’s arts and crafts kit.]
Now stand back, let a bearfessional work here.
[ Kyouko pulls a half-eaten hayburger (wrapped in greasy paper) out of her saddlebag and munches on it while she watches. This should be at least a little entertaining. Though she’ll have to talk him down when it doesn’t work. ]
Sure ya don’ wanna get a unicorn for this? Twilight could prob’ly…
[He shakes his head adamantly.]
I gotta be the one to do this. It’s...it’s my big plan…
[There’s an audible gulp as he looks at his vial. Truth be told, Teddie didn’t exactly want to be a pony, he loved everything about being a bear… But if he was going to make things right, he’d just have to bear with it.
...That thought makes him laugh weakly as his ears fold back and he uncorks the vial. Wincing, he proceeds to shake it like an idiot and splash water EVERYWHERE. Yes, this is how potions work. Ladies and gentleman, the smartest creature in the world.]
[ Kyouko watches the water go everywhere, including on herself. The sun glints through the water and the glitter making rainbows everywhere. Tons of rainbows… ]
BANG.
[ The screen is filled with rainbows for a few seconds. Then there’s a second BANG and the colors clear.
In the place of the red pony that had been standing near Teddie just moments ago is a red bear, instead. Kyouko looks confusedly at her paws, the burger dropping forgotten onto the ground. ]
Uh…
[The only thing Teddie does in response is stand there, jaw dropped.
And then came the screaming.]

Awkward, uncomfortable pause.
"...did it hurt?"
no subject
[ Looks over her paws. ] S'actually kinda cute.

Pause.
"...please be careful? I mean, I blacked out before I hit the ground when I lost my wings, but it took me like a month before I could move under my own power again...don't let anything like that happen to you, okay?"

[ She waves an arm. ] Looks like I can move fine.
