So, um. Some of you know this already. But during the eclipse, I realized that I...sort of have pieces of your magic. The unicorns, anyway; I don't know how to tell if I got it from Bertie, Andrew, and Joshua too. My aura has other colors in it now sometimes, and it's much stronger than I'm accustomed to.

Don said he felt a pull when I used magic near him, so I've been trying to use it as little as possible. I'm not sure it's safe. Princess Luna, do you know anything about this...?

HA! --- ooh. [Andrew's sound of triumph is followed by one of surprise as he gives himself a little shake.] I think I might've felt that. Try it again?

Did you? [Pollo does not do it again, instead turning to Andrew in interest.] What did it feel like?

Er...well, sort of like remembering you've just left the oven on, actually, but more so.

I wonder why I don't feel anything when the others use magic? At least, I don't think I do...

How do you use earth pony magic, anyway?

...I think it sort of happens in the background all the time. It's not something I do, really. [And he's not entirely sure it's even working at all.]

[Everyone DOES insist that earth ponies do have magic, and he figures they would know, but really he's not sure what evidence he's seen of it.

He would never actually SAY that, though.]

[This earth pony hasn't really seen evidence of earth pony magic, at least if you don't count Pinkie. He did used to say so, but people just kept insisting.]

If you start feeling a connection to the earth or an urge to farm or anything, let me know -- I think I've misplaced mine.

I will. [Isn't there a little more to it than that? He'll ask Twilight.] Though I helped with the farming before, and I wasn't that bad at it.

Ooh! We should have you do something -- something earthy this time, see if that makes a difference over pure power output. Pull those weeds? [Hey, look, weeds. In among the crops. That seems like a super good idea, doesn't it?]

That seems earthy!

[Pollo goes over to the weeds and nearly pulls them up with his magic, before thinking that this would maybe defeat the purpose of the test. So instead he just pulls them physically, like an earth pony would.

It doesn't feel particularly spectacular. It's just weeding.]

[Andrew watches keenly like he's expecting something exciting to happen. At least Pollo seems to be doing well at it? He can't tell if it's any better than how Pollo weeded before. Did Pollo do the weeding before?

Yeah, this is getting boring really quickly.]

You could try pulling them with magic. Oooh, or fixing something...but that's something you already did....
