As the scroll turns on, it reveals a pink unicorn, her green mane pulled back in a ponytail and her ears lowered. She doesn't appear to be aware of the scroll, looking around in an extremely confused fashion.

"I...I don't understand...I was supposed to be at the Sealed Gate..."

She shrinks in on herself before continuing, calling out for her friends.

"Where are you, everyone? Edgar? Sabin? ...Locke?"

Something occurs to her then, and she stands a bit straighter as she raises her voice.

"I-is this the Esper World? My name is Terra! I was born here! Please, if you can hear my voice, answer me!"

There is not much to be done at this very moment, so Trixie shall be willing to address any questions your mind is so willing to ask!

...that's Unicorn. Except...blue? And tiny?

(Terra hasn't looked in a mirror lately. Or maybe ever.)

The Great and Powerful Trixie is one such of the specie, yes. Perhaps you should go ahead and check yourself in a mirror as well. Doing so could reveal such humbling secrets to you!

[The ham is practically dripping off of her.]

There's a slight pause as Terra nods and trots off to look in what is probably a nearby river, judging from the sound.



It takes considerably less time for her to gallop back to the scroll.

"W-what happened to me?! I shouldn't look like this!"

You needn't worry. 'Tis but a side effect of entering this world. Many an outsider never had an equine form 'fore being cast inside, most of all of them being former humans.

If you were trying to reach another world, you only half-succeeded, miss. This is definitely another world, but not your Esper World unless I'm mistaken.

"Are there...more worlds than just the Human and Esper worlds?"

If it turns out her mother was secretly from Tiny Unicorn World and she is actually a bridge between three realms Terra will just scream.

Many, many more. We've got all kinds. Sometimes we even meet ourselves from other worlds, although this seems to happen more here with other Equestria's.

You've come in the middle of Oktoberfest, a harvest festival. So: beer, bread, pickles, fish for the adventurous.

I suggest you not worry about your world too much; you tend to return the moment you've left in these situations. Just enjoy the party while you get your bearings.

[Oh look, it's someone other than a Trixie, though not someone she knows.]

No, this isn't the Esper World, whatever that is. This is Equestria and the town you're in is called Ponyville.

...and now there is a Unicorn without a horn, but with wings. It's like a chocobo decided to dress up like Unicorn. Terra briefly wonders if having Unicorn's Magicite around would be helpful but dismisses the thought quickly.

"What is a...'pony'?"

[ponymechanic]

[He's a pegasus, not a unicorn. He doesn't have a horn.]

A pony is a small horse. In this case, this place has different types of ponies. Unicorns, Pegasi, Earth ponies and Batponies. Batponies aren't as common since they are nocturnal usually.

"But...Unicorn is a person. And he's dead. How could there be more of him? And what's a 'horse'?"

If the ponies were a surprise to her, what would she make of a dragon... a very large dragon? Skyfire was just out trying to work out some of the aches in his muscles by taking a walk when he spotted her, and he thought she seemed rather upset.

"Hello? Are you alright? Do you need some help?" He's just a big sweetie, but he's unfortunately well aware that his size and species does sometimes scare others...

...Dragons are much more normal than tiny, blue, not-Unicorns or weird chocobo-Unicorn hybrids. And it's not trying to chew her face off! Terra will mark this as a win for now.

"Please, sir, where is this place?"

"The world is called Equestria and this is Ponyville... I'm afraid I'm not able to get any more specific than that." He gives her what he hopes is a reassuring smile. "... and please, my name is Skyfire, not sir."

"I am Terra."

Slight pause.

"Terra Branford. Um...Skyfire? Would you...have seen my friends around here?"

[Pinkie exploded out from a flower pot.] WELCOME TO PONYVILLE! Here's your welcome brownie!

WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING

WHAT IS A BROWNIE

Are you going to try and eat her face like every other creature that pops up out of nowhere?

[Meanwhile, across town, there is a tree full of books. In it lives and works a pony that is called The Sparkled One by no one really, except that one showmare. Her real name is Twilight Sparkle, and she is always expecting visitors.

Sudden entrances are still discouraged, though.]

As Terra lands from her impromptu flight, she transforms back into her...she's not sure it really counts as 'normal' but that's the first word to spring to mind.

...somehow, when she pictured a library in a tree, she expected something more like a child's treehouse. Ah well. Libraries are public places, right? She'll just open the door.

"Hello?"

[She is, of course, happier when someone recognizes that and doesn't knock.]
