1st Magicite [Visual]
As the scroll turns on, it reveals a pink unicorn, her green mane pulled back in a ponytail and her ears lowered. She doesn't appear to be aware of the scroll, looking around in an extremely confused fashion.
"I...I don't understand...I was supposed to be at the Sealed Gate..."
She shrinks in on herself before continuing, calling out for her friends.
"Where are you, everyone? Edgar? Sabin? ...Locke?"
Something occurs to her then, and she stands a bit straighter as she raises her voice.
"I-is this the Esper World? My name is Terra! I was born here! Please, if you can hear my voice, answer me!"

"Please, sir, where is this place?"

Slight pause.
"Terra Branford. Um...Skyfire? Would you...have seen my friends around here?"
no subject
He'd heard a couple of names when she'd been calling out, but better to be sure and hear them clearly.

Downside of being in a coma for a while: your small group of friends makes new friends and you don't know them very well.
Unless they are moogles, apparently.

"I'm afraid not, but that doesn't mean they might not be here." He was trying to keep things positive, even if he didn't think it was likely that they were.
"... If you'd like I can show you around a little? Maybe we'll be able to spot them if they're here."

...with the implication that she not only isn't human, but she doesn't consider her transformation to be particularly strange.
no subject
"If they stayed human, perhaps. But this world doesn't have humans... They would have been transformed into something native to this world. Much like I'm assuming you have been."
She might not have been human at home, but he was betting that she hadn't been a pony either.
no subject
"You mean...it's because of this world I look like this?"
no subject
He gestures to himself and winces a bit as he moves wrong and a sore muscle protests.
"The body dysmorphia takes some getting used to... I had to get used to being organic for example."

...some kind of machine-dragon is not even remotely the weirdest Esper form Terra has seen, so she'll just let that pass without comment. (What is Bismark even supposed to be)
She does, however, notice the wince when Skyfire moves wrong, so...
"Are you...hurt? Cure!"
...oh, well, that sure is healing magic.
no subject
"I overworked myself..." He doesn't want to sound ungrateful since it did help, but... "Thank you, but you should probably ask before using magic on someone."
no subject
"I...I'm sorry...I just...I don't like it when others are hurt..."
no subject
"I appreciate the help, but you should always check unless you know someone well or it's a real emergency. You wouldn't want to hurt someone accidentally or get hurt yourself."
no subject
Not that she's going to mention that.
"I'll remember that, then."
no subject
"Let me treat you to a snack somewhere?" Trying to change the subject to something less awkward? Yup.
no subject
"I...all right?"
no subject
"Sugarcube Corner has really good cupcakes..." Skyfire thought that the cupcake that Pinkie Pie had given him when he arrived had made him feel welcome, so a cupcake might make Terra feel better about being here too.

...not much to say to that, is there?
no subject
"I think you'll like it. I'd never had either until I arrived here."

Once they reach Sugarcube Corner, despite his size and inability to actually fit inside the shop, he somehow manages to order her a slice of strawberry cake and a chocolate cupcake. Once they've been set down on an outside table, he gives her a grin.
"Go ahead, give them a try. That's a slice of cake, and that's a cupcake." He points to each. "They come in a lot more flavors than these two, but these seem to be popular."

...........oh.
Oh.
